Did Anyone Notice... [Episode 2 spoilers]

Did anyone else notice Larry's mouth move on its own when you give him CPR in the meat locker? I honestly think he could have been saved.

On my third playthrough I tried to resuscitate Larry as quickly as possible; I believe it was after four or five hits on the chest...he opens his mouth as if to take a breath, but then gets spattered.

So yes! I noticed it! It's a shame Kenny had to act so quickly. Or had he already turned...? *dramatic eyes*

i see it's kill joy time again ;)

imo it's just movement from the cpr, even ttg didn't realise it looked that way..

i do agree ttg should let us save larry in some form..for a final 'fuck you lee' moment before he turns or is killed

also been said already in other threads..

Yeah. On my first play-through, I thought it was just a graphical error, but I soon realized that was coming back, one way or another.

I'm pretty sure a Dev responded to this idea saying "We want you to guess if that was Larry coming back or zombie Larry's first move? Either way, we'll never get clarification.

    This plus ten, for truth.

They admitted that the mouth does indeed move, but didn't say it was because CPR was working. In fact, when another user brought up that it might be Larry reanimating as a walker, one of the devs confirmed that it was exactly the kind of debate they wanted to stir up with that scene (not directly quoting so much as paraphrasing!).

If it was clear that Larry could be saved, the "moral" path would have been clear in the situation. Result: No dilemma. Yet TWD is about the moral dilemma.

Whether he could have lived must remain a mystery because the design of this choice would have been broken in any other case.

I haven't really noticed, I tried to saved him only because I didn't liked Kenny and I wanted to get closer to Lilly, not that I really wanted to save him, I knew he was dead and I knew Kenny was going to kill him, so what a hell, jerk deserved it..

TTG did that on purpose. It's already been commented on.

Isn't the real question: Were those the dying breaths of human Larry or the first breaths of zombie Larry?

That is exactly the question I was trying to raise there. Good catch!
