Melissa Hutchison Interview (Clementine, TWD) - Alternative Magazine Online

edited August 2012 in The Walking Dead
I have just posted an interview with Melissa Hutchison (the voice of Clementine in The Walking Dead: The Game) on Alternative Magazine Online:

INTERVIEW – In Conversation With Melissa Hutchison (Clementine, The Walking Dead: The Game)

Telltale fans may also recognise Melissa as the voice of Girl Stinky in Sam & Max Seasons 2 and 3 and Trixie Trotter in Back To The Future: The Game! As always, I would love to hear your thoughts. You can also check out my previous interviews with Dave Fennoy (the voice of Lee Everett), Adam Harrington (the voice of Andrew St. John) and Nicki Rapp (the voice of Lilly Caul) here, here and here.

Well this is interesting. It's nice to read an interview with probably the most talented voice actress in the game. So she thought that Clem made a right choice about not looting the car...

Did anyone find that Big Ang thing she mentioned?

hmm, for some reason I thought it actually was a young woman doing the voice acting.

Not surprised. If a woman can voice act for young boys than why not for young girls.

Haha, okay. Man, I hope nobody actually sounds like that woman.

Hmm... In this interview they repeatedly say "Clementine Marsh", yet...

All I'm saying is Clementine's family's last name isn't Marsh, unless I'm totally insane.

Yeah, I saw that. Melissa just says "Clementine", only the questions put the "Marsh" in. A fuckup on the part of the wikia helpers, but they've made it right in the meantime.

Marty, this needs a swift correction!! ;)

Hey guys - just read up about this and it does indeed seem like Marsh is a reference to Marsh House where Clementine's parents stay, NOT her surname. I've fixed the interview to reflect this - does anybody know her actual surname?

It would have come up in the meantime. We'd just assume that she has none as of now... like most of the rest of the gang, including the entire Kenny family, Carley and possibly Doug.

I've just spoken to Jake from Telltale and he has confirmed that Marsh is a reference to 'The Marsh House'. :) It's amazing how one mistake can spread across the internet like wildfire!

Most kid voices in cartoons our done by women.
