Run around in a blind panic.

The first thing I would do is establish a group. In a mall. ;) Then when things seem smooth, I would go look for my family. I see this kind of question everywhere, lol.

I think a lot of these people secretly hopes that a zombie outbreak happens, even though most of them won't even make it lol.

Wait out the initial panic/chaos that is sure to ensue with the initial break out. Hide in a house and secure it. Wait for a week or two for it to calm down. Move away from population centers and cities in general. You should always have zombie supplies in your house/backpack at all times. ZA could happen at anytime.

Shoot myself as soon as the internet goes down.

    According to this test:

"You might of survived a couple of months, but death is inevitable. You would have perished cold and alone, your family infected months ago by overwhelming hordes of zombies you failed to repel."

Guess I'm screwed if there's a zombie apocalypse haha

Wait, I saw that movie, I don't think it ended well.

I'd be heading for mountains with a lot of supplies and gear.

well i've always got plenty of food so i'd probably scavenge what i could to improve chances..

depending on the state of the neighbours,

siphen off as much fuel as i could and store it

listen out for looting and fortify the house.

start making any kind of weapon in the garage for self defence.

and find a good group to improve chances

First I would get a pack for my supplies including makeshift weapons. Then I'm going after the people I care most apart who are several states away. I'd pick up my Ex , my Cousins, and my best friend whose across the country. Then make it for Canada.

    I got I am Legend

    My Result: You narrowly survived

    What does this mean?

You narrowly crawled through six months of hell. Very few of your family survived, and many of your friends perished.

When I leave this earth I HOPE it is because of a zombie apocalypse. I have spent countless hours in zombie mode on COD so I am more than prepared. Alas the first thin I will do is to run to my garage and get a weapon, than get in my car and find family. After we move out to a secure area with little entrances (a roof for instance) and camp out. A mall as someone said is way to open and so many people will be there if by any chance the zombies spread you are completely and utterly screwed.

I'd get in my car and drive to a place with a low population... not a military base

Its just funy how people say what they gonna do but in reality if it actually happened people would freak the hell out and wet themselves trust me as a ex military guy im guilty of it myself get all these guys fresh outa basic and they are always ooo yeah i cant wait for some action etc etc then when something goes down they all scramble and run to hide under the nearest humvee screaming like babies till someone who been through it all starts kicken em in the asses. :p lol and im sure thats what would happen at first least till the shellshock wears off.

Not if.... when there is a zombie Apocalypse.

    I'm a paramedic, so...

First I would be called into work to help deal with the sudden increase in call volumes, regarding an outbreak of an unknown virulent disease.

Second we would be called out immediately on logging in to deal with a caller who had collapsed after being bitten by a neighbour.

Third, we attend the call, noting the signs of chaos and panic as we blue light to the scene.

Fourth, we load the patient up who by now is unresponsive and head off to A&E. As I'm on driver shift, my partner attends in the back.

Fifth, I hear screams in the back and the hatch window is obscured with blood and tissue. I stop & open the back door to check on my partner. Stunned and frozen into immobility as my brain attempts to process the scene, I react too slowly as our 'patient' finishes dining on my partner's flesh and grabs for me. My last thoughts as I am eaten alive ... 'If only I'd joined the navy...'

    It's a fact - paramedics would be the #1 victims on day 1 of the zombie apocalypse :( . I'm doomed :(

Oh well if there was a real zombie apocalypse, I reacon that I would make some different choices. Nobody can predict how they would feel if the world actually went to hell.

Securing your home and securing supplies would be the top two priorities, in that order.
  • edited August 2012
Securing my home, make an epic weopan in the garage most likely to include nails. Sneak into peoples house and steal there foods.

Ilive a small town, and the farm i was raised at is ten minutes away. I would empty out the gun safe and head to the farm house carring guns and supplies. At the farm house is a generator that can run the freezer for sometime. The next few days i would be rounding up family/friends and supplies. By being in the country about 10 miles from the nearest town, it would be some time before walkers in mass arrived. That time would be spent making defences and securing even more supplies. With the fireplace in the house, i can handle no electricity. And for the freezer and few other things, the 500 galleon fuel tanks will keep the generator going, and the big propane tank will keep us cooking, and having hot baths. The house has 3 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms, and a lot more crash space so friends will be welcomed and others will be shot. Since a lot of friends belong to the SCA, i think we would survive well.

Well the first thing on my mind would be my family. That would be my number one priority. I would fear for my brother, as he lives in London. The most dangerous place to be would be in and around cities. I would need to know that he is safe. My 2nd priority would be to find a safe place. Malls are a death trap. We all know how dawn of the dead ended. Rick got the right idea. A prison is heavily fortified. There are weapons, food and armor. If I was to find a safe haven, a prison would be the ideal place.

Find/meet up with family. My family and most of my family members keep "bug out bags" on hand and stocked with supplies in case of any disaster, and we have planned meet-up places in case shit hits the fan, so we'd totally be ready to survive a zombie apocalypse!

    I got legend. Narrowly survived.

Had this conversation with a friend of mine, there are two national guard armories within a reasonably close distance that he plans on trying to raid. Unfortunately they're both in fairly dense urban environments. Our traffic situation isn't exactly ideal on the best of days and I can only imagine it with roving bands of cannibals and people getting zombified on the streets.

My best bet would be heading north and sticking to the various national parks, but that would involve crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, talk about ideal killzone. I guess I'd hop down to the suicide netting and hope I can climb my way across the whole length of it.

I was a medical soldier in the '90s and all I can say is, "TRUE!" :D

But the knowledge I gained at that time gave me the edge on that test and gave me a:
    I am Legend
You narrowly crawled through six months of hell. Very few of your family survived, and many of your friends perished.

That way I can at least die as a madman. *sigh*
  • edited August 2012
Yeah but as a paramedic, would you go into work knowing that it's the zombie apocalypse? Or would you refuse to believe that it could be zombies, and go into work anyway?
  • edited August 2012
i would raid 1st the local police station for wepons and ammo 2nd raid the local supermarket and shop and shoot everyone in the way

    Phew.

    My Result: You survived!

    What does this mean?

Congratulations! You strolled through six months of hell and lived to tell the tale. Your friends and family survived and you won world-wide acclaim as 'the ultimate zombie hunter'

Thankfully I have weapons and survival experience and first aid training... plus I can probably hotwire a train if I have to. :D
