"This will not be the last The Walking Dead game series that we do" is the one and only official statement concerning a possible Season 2. No date, no year, not even an indication if this is actually really "Season 2". But I guess this counts as "confirmed" anyway.
Errrr... the last two poll options seem to say exactly the same. Would you mind if I changed them to one?
I will be doing the same as I've done with the current season and that's buying an open pass. Hopefully though with a 7 month+ gap or whatever they have in between they will be more consistant with episode releases, at the moment that has been their only problem so far which isn't that big of a deal (Episode 1 and 2 was a 2 month gap instead of a 1 and it's looking like episode 3 will be the same as well) but I'm a very impatient person haha!
At least they're not doing a Bethesda regarding to Fallout: New Vegas and releasing it on deadline day with mass amount of glitches, I much prefer having a game that's at 100% oppose to one thats released on time running at 70%
They're hit a gold mine with this game have TellTale as the walking dead could go on for as long as the comics has, as long as they don't over kill they could make a fortune from this or even build it up and sell the rights for a full Action/Adventure game or possibly even an RPG style.
There's so much what they could do with this game in the future it's uncanny!
Unless telltale games changes something in the way the handle the rest of this season, i choose not to buy season 2. If they do something to change, i might be but only after all the episodes are out.
I'm slightly disappointed by the monthly release issue, but I'm not complaining about it. The story is amazing so far, the characters have actual character, and the choices can be hard at times. That being said, I will prepurchase the season passes if I have the money available.
I'll try to wait for the season pass to go on sale.
If I get impatient then I'll just buy the season pass.
If i get season 2 I'll obviously want to finish all the episodes so there is no point in wasting money buying the episodes one at a time. Save money and get the updates automatically with the season pass is the best way to go if you plan on playing all the episodes.
There had better be a systematic release for the season 2 episodes. And they'd better not take more than a month each if they're going to stick with the 2-3 hour length of each episode.
If they haven't got at least episode 4 close to post-production by the time they let episode 1 loose, I won't be convinced they'll stick to any time. In which case I'll be more than happy to wait until steam shaves off 3 quarters of the price. If I'm still interested.
Had I known that this season would take so long, TellTale wouldn't have had my money yet. It burns to go through two episodes so quickly (and love them) just to learn how long I'll be having to maintain my interest out of thin air.
It has multiple choices yet no replay value at the same time. Youtube quickly clears up the "what ifs" of your playthrough and most of the thrill comes from the very first time when a difficult snap decision catches you off guard.
Im probably going to wait until season 2 is all out and has a big sale on it before buying.
The lack of communication as to why the releases are pushed back and the lack of an apology from TTG disgusts me. Its like theyr saying "Go screw yourself, we already got your money"
Hi, I am going to buy the walking dead soon. But, from what i know, it is release episode by episode, so after I bought the game, and episode 3 is out, I instantly can play or do I need to download it again through the game I installed on my PC, or I have to pay again for episode 3 4 and 5? Please help me. >.<

i think all the PC versions are for all the episodes(not 100%), i know the steam version is all the episodes that will just get updated on each episode release
I am from Malaysia and I am ordering from my local shop. However the guy works there doesnt know how it works either. Thanks for your info though. I just want to know how to update the upcoming episode still.
I cant see myself waiting anymore for the next series than I did for this one. I know what to expect now that Ive had my first experience with episodic gaming and Ive been mostly satisfied. A little impatience probably goes with the territory.
Even with all the technical issues about downloading the episodes & lengthy release windows.. I've come to the conclusion that I'll go with season pass after all. Can't stand to wait for them all to get released. I really consider myself lucky about save game issues people are having though. Never had one.
The game is glitchy as fuck.
For some odd reason the save games turn corrupted. ( At least in PS3 )
PSN EU is treated unfair! ( It's ether TTG or SONY EU who fuck up things )
Any of the choices I make doesn't have any big impact to the game at all...
I will wait until episode 4 and 5 comes for the PSN EU and then play them! My save games got corrupted last night and I cba to play it again... yet...
So not buying SEASON 2 because of that...

Last I heard, they were considering, not confirming :l.

Last I heard it was confirmed.
If that's the case, I'll be getting it.

I will definitely wait till it's all done to purchase it, so that I can just go straight through it all.
bit stupid of the O P to leave that out
Do something else?
yeah i picked that, but 'do something else' is wide open...to interpritation..
Sorry man I didn't put that much thought into it. I just don't take it that serious. I just post for fun or when I'm bored.

The sad thing is they do have a person for that, Alan. Where the heck has he been?
Walker got him!
