I do think that the monthly schedule is outdated now. Telltale has had trouble with monthly releases of late. I think Back to the Future, this and Monkey Island were all out of the format. I like the newer games, there's a definite scaling up of quality. If it takes them changing to a bimonthly schedule, that's fine with me.
Yeah, in this case the inverted concept of "Time is Money" applies perfectly here. In this case: the longer time TTG spends on shaping up and polishing the episode, the better revenue and satisfaction they will get.

i wonder what their sales were like in the other episodic games, whether they sold loads more after it was finished or while the episodes were coming out, because if it was after they were finished that might be why they are willing to make us wait way longer than they said, so that when they release the final product it would be basically bug free so at the time where they make the most sale less people would have less problems, actually that is a good idea either way but seems more likely if they sell more after they are finished

Sadly, I can't answer that. I wasn't here for the other games, I joined as they were doing TWD.

I can't say either. I know they've been growing since the beginning, but want stats on how much they've sold too.
so when are we going to meet more ppl from the comic? like rick would love to meet laury and dale if he's still around
I don't even think that's even possible. The comics have gone around a time span of 2 years after the apocalypse had started. The game right now, is at what? 2 months? In the entire documentation of the comic, there is no mention of Lee or Clem.
This company is pathetic. Like I said, it's going to be September before we get any REAL update, and close to the end of September before we get another episode. This is so damn stupid, I bought the season pass at the beginning of summer, and I still have yet to play episode three and here we are nearing the end of summer. P-A-T-H-E-T-I-C.

Theres been several threads stating that Xbox/psn store might take alot of time and money to certify or upload a game to their servers. So it might be that not "polishing and shaping up"
do you want a bug ridden pile of shit ? answer yes go ask ttg to send you the game once it's finished then...
other wise shut the hell up and wait like everyone else.
Really? You wanna go down this road? You wanna use that stupid argument that has no basis whatsoever?
Did I say I wanted a buggy game? Did I say "Hey telltale, rush this game to please, I don't care if it's buggy as hell!" No. I did not.
I'm angry that it's taken months to release it, i'm angry because it was supposed to be monthly, i'm angry because I shouldn't have to wait until the next season(fall) to play a new episode. Don't take my legitimate anger, and turn it into some stupid shit like that. Thats a cop out, my friend. And i'd hope you were better than that and smarter than that.
so you expect ttg to make us wait LONGER than ep2 ? yeah right..
ep2 was certified with in 2-3 weeks and released in 2 months since ep1 do you realise the shit storm they would have if ep3 is out after august ??
that was my point. people ARE complainng about the wait and want ep3 asap.. but to do that they would have to accept bugs and also back lash from other forum members on different formats who are waiting.

Well, short a miracle, that storm is coming. I dont even think it's the delay at this point its the "It's coming..." song and dance.
Like others said, at this point, my desire to see what happens next is fading out and being replaced by the frustration of TTG's silence while other games are gaining (my) attention. State a release date so that people have an expected eta instead of coming to these boards daily and being reminded that you are not delivering on your end of this arrangement we all have with you.

when the episodes are 'ready' they are released...and when sony and billgates/xboxdudes say yes..................
I think I can take up til Tuesday, after that it will be reasonable to get pissed
Mod Edit: Don't bump an old thread for no reason.
