TWD gaming in the future

edited January 2013 in The Walking Dead
just think If we will born in the next 100 years

don't you think that we could be Lee Instead to moveing him with gamepad ?:(

but what now ? we just move Lee with Gamepad and Staring at the monitor

that isn't good, I would to be inside of games not just control them Behind the Monitor

companies should do something for that

There are very few games I would want to experience as if I was actually in it.

With how bleak it is, The Walking Dead is not one of them.

Ah man, remember virtual reality? What ever happened to that.

Nintendo and the Virtual Boy happened.

    Did NOT.

Yep, I'd love walking into a room and seeing a good buddy of mine with his legs hacked off, and about to be served to me for dinner. Or having my face shoved into an electric fence, or being covered in the blood and grey matter of the old man I was trying to save from a heart attack but got his head crushed any way.

Not that virtual reality games wouldn't be cool, they'd be AWESOME IMO. But since the Walking Dead is so bleak, it is definately something I would NOT want to go through, in any way shape or form. Those poor people have no idea what's coming :(

I agree LeeLee, it would be really cool to have that type of immersion. People are actually working on this type of thing. Check out this video it's pretty neat.

If that's what we have now in 100 years it's hard to even imagine.

We re going to have integrated movies soon, like for example you can peek round corners in a horror film and the dude will chase you etc, thats in a good 20 years away at least though

what would the phrase be then? we're going from "DID YOU SEE THAT MOVIE?!" to "DID YOU EXPERIENCE THAT MOVIE?!"

Some VR would be awesome! As long as it works well that is. I still have a headache from the Nintendo VB I played in the 90's!
And now for no good reason heres Quagmire!

We have guests from all over the world and not all of them are as versed in English as you are. Have a bit of respect.

    New headline follows.

And 3D, guys, what about 3D? Oh wait... we're still sitting around with those crappy specs, watching movies half the normal resolution. Hurry up future!

I actually don't want matrix like gaming. Would rather use gamepads, Developers should focus on innovating by advancing genre standards. Not with gimmicky tech. The amount of focus on motion controls, and touch controls, is stupid. No wonder why most games are generic.

Wow, epic bump there. But as RAnthonyMahan said, I can only think of a couple games where I would actually like to be inside the game as the main character.
