What did you tell Clementine the plan was?

edited September 2012 in The Walking Dead
So... what did you do?

-"We need to help find a boat."

-"We should go out own way."

-"We should look for your parents."

-"..."

I told her we should look for her parents. I would've probably told her that if I was in his position to comfort her even if it doesn't seem like the best plan.

    Made it into a poll.

    Parents->boat.

Poll doesn't show the options the game gave you.

ok then i just picked the "We should go our own way" since i picked that the first time

Think of it like this. If you were Lee, what would you have told her?

We should go our own way!

You should have seen Kenny's face when I told him we were cutting him loose. Priceless....

It was the only option for me in my game. I loath both Kenny and Ben. The new folks got a free ride to Savannah, Omid saved me once and I saved him once...we're square.

I did agree to Clem's request to at least look for her parents while in Savannah...so ...well...you know how that goes...

I picked we should go our own way because. I don't care about the other characters to be honest :P i really don't care about Omid and Christa lol

Parents - gotta make good on that.

This is the dark magics TTG weaves with the episodes. Almost everyone you meet rubs you the wrong way. Then you hate on them for a month or so. Then in the next episode, something happens that totally reverses your opinion on them. Christa is coming off like a real bitch in this episode, I bet she will turn around and be all friendly and nice Ep4 (and I think she's pregnant)

Well..."care" is a pretty strong word. Let's just say it's a small walker infested world and if you can leave people on good terms that best since you may see them again later on (they may even still be alive too).

I told her we'd look for her parents. It seemed only fair, Lee had found his family in Macon, people deserve closure on the fate of their loved ones.

In previous episodes I would have chosen differently, since it was never the plan to head for Savannah. Leaving the safety of the Motor Inn to go tear-assing around the country with an 8 year old, looking for two people who would likely be dead or untraceable wouldn't be a smart move.

Since we're passing through the city of their last known whereabouts anyway, it seems a no-brainer to do some sleuthing while we're there. No doubt Kenny will have his panties in a bunch about it. XD

Going to go look for her parents sounded crazy to me but you never know. Sometimes these longshots payoff like for Rick in the walking dead TV show.

I said we should go our own way. Kenny's reaction was great though haha. Kenny has been a real dickhead to me anyway so fuck him, but I still cant help but feel bad for him for what happened. It was still great though to beat the shit out of him on the train, made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. :)

I said we'd Find a boat, but she whined about finding her parents, so I said we'd look around, but the boat was the priority.

    Yes it does.

    No it doesn't.

Pay attention to the exact choices. I for example ingame chose to go for a boat after looking for parents. Can't see a poll for that. So no, it doesn't.

I told her that we should find her parents. It's always been like that.

I said we should go our own way, but Clem said she wanted to look for her parents, so I just went with it.

BTW, if you try and tell Clem not to tell her parents about Lee's past, she says "You can't tell me what to do." I'm curious how my decisions may have impacted this---would like to hear others.

I tried to toughen her up and tell her they're probably dead...didnt go so well.
On second thought I told her we'd look for her parents...so much more drama down that road

I'm surprised so many people said find her parents. Realistically, they're dead, and searching for them is searching for a needle in a haystack, dead or alive.

i know right? maybe people just want satisfy her lol

I decided to tell her that we should look for her parents. Above all, I want her to be able to TRUST me, because if she doesn't, it might put her in more danger down the line when I need her to do something.

I'm thinking it was the right call, especially now that I learned that she has been talking to Mr. Creep on her walkie-talkie. She needs to know that I care for her and what she wants, and it is very important to her that we at least TRY to reunite with her parents.

 She said that? I haven't gotten any smartmouthed response from her as yet - at the most, she did tell me "I'm not stupid, I know it's just pretend" etc etc in Episode 2.

Thus far, when I told Clementine that I was a murderer, she seems to understand everything and she said it didn't matter.

    So.. wow.. thanks for sharing.

    That makes sense.

In my playthrough, I remember my only thoughts being on survival. All the drama and heart ache just went down I just want to take Clem away from everything. When she brought up looking for her parents, I said sure, since it's on the way, but never though of it is something important. Time will tell how it all plays out.

Yeah that's really surprising to hear especially with what's transpiring over the walkie-talkie deal. She hasn't said anything to that affect on my one and only playthrough.

As for what I picked, I went with leaving the group. Everything seems to be falling apart and overall moral for the group is dwindling. This was before meeting up with Omir and Christa, but after talking to Christa, my decision was solidified.

I also made it evident to Clementine that I'd help her try and find her parents, which is what a man on the road to redemption would do. Or I'd like to think he would. My first mindset going into this was to survive at all costs seeing as I was alone, but having her by Lee's side changed that. She takes precedence over everything, even the welfare of the group and Lee's life. For me at least.

I agree, thats pretty much what I went for. At this point, she is the only one (besides Lee) that I want to stay alive.

I know the father is dead though.

I said I'd help her find her parents.

But truth be told, I'm kinda scared that we may actually find one or both of them alive and well. And if that happens, I don't know if I'll be able to give Clementine back. She's just too cool, y'know?

    First time : Parents
2nd time : We should go our own way.

I told her we should go our own way, the group IS falling apart. Though my first playthrough kenny is my bro, I told him how it is. I expect him to follow but I honestly think he will either flop because of his family dead or be close to lee. Ben,....I don't like very much and I don't expect the new two the hang around. Chuck....I have a feeling he will not be around for long, I just met the guy too and my character has been through a lot, especially loosing the only love interest he had post ZA.

I told clem that MAYBE we'll stop by and find her parents but honestly,I'm pretty sure her dad is a zombie and her mom has probably been raped by that guy on the radio, and tortured to a point that she will be easily turned and probably be eaten by her zombified dad, who the creepo makes happen in front of clem just to screw with her.

OR that she was bitten prior and LEE tells clem to get away from her mother(she's been bit with no medical attention and is slowly dying, duh!)which creates huge drama as clem seems confused and lost of the situation because she just found her mother in a sick state but you know what, she's 8 and she found her mom at last why would she leave her side especially being in a sickened state! She is in neglect and as lee you have to convince her to leave her mom's side before she turns or hell shoot her point blank, and you can't leave the area BECAUSE you were locked up in the house/gated part. Which is what makes lee probably yell out, "YOU COME BACK HERE AND I WILL KILL YOU, YOU HERE ME!"

Anyways I'm just theorizing and rambling off in the end but meh, thats my response.

I was a little confused on that. I didn't know if she was taling about telling her folks (walkie talkie) about the newly made plans or if it was telling her folks (when she actually met them) about his past
