I grew up with PONG!(about age 4-6), moved on to a ATARI2600 (I was about 9, my mom worked for Atari at that time, so I had all the games. ). When we returned from Asia (lived there for a couple of years) I got a C64 (about age 12) and later (17?!) I moved to a to a ATARI ST.
THEN came my first PC'ish thingy in 1994 (66 MHz and 8 MB RAM!!!)... TIE FIGHTER Was the way to go! LOL! Loved that game!

For me it would be Mattel adverts, they were pretty strong in Germany when I was a kid and had a high tv presence. But the songs of my life would probably be Bravestarr, The Raccoons and Saber Rider.
31 a veteran of the commodore 64 era.... waiting 5 minutes just for a game to load and then squinting like a son of a bitch trying to make out the shitty on screen graphics really should of sent my laser eye surgery bill to commodore lol
30, goin on 31 December 7th. There's a lot of 20/30 year olds I see. Good now I don't feel too too old lol. I grew up in the Thunder Cats era and LOVE 80's soft rock and 80's R&B.(among many types of music). The "freedom" and "care free spirit" of the 80's,early 90's is what most kids/teens these days haven't truly experienced, without being judged, especially with expressing themselves through art/music/clothing etc.
Anyway, I'm a big fan of the walking dead game,(and show). Actually a big fan of zombie movies,..i love horror movies and all forms of movies in general.
^^ lol I totally agree with that! It's all about living in the "NOW", doing all the things that bring you joy and excitement, that you love. There's never a reason in life to not be your true self, at any moment in time )

43. It was great coming up from NO computers and watching the gaming industry evolve.

Made me giggle
40 ~ I started with Donkey Kong and Zaxxon on a Colecovision.
Like the other 'mature' gamers, I started on Atari's, ZX Spectrums, and tape drive Commodores.
Ah the hours wasted waiting for a new tape to load. Sweet times!
I had a few years head start with my Atari 2600 :winslow:
Not at all. We are the original video game players, dude!!!
You match VDViking in age
I thought i was getting old, but shit i feel young again haha
there iw as thinking you're a spring chicken
interesting...
Actually no, that's me. I was born in spring.
Who wants a bouncy chicken, they're just wingy. I thought you were an old fart, so we're even.
For a game as linear as this, there sure is a lot more educated banter and speculation going on.

Add me to the 40 list....
