and just to give you an impression...

I grew up with PONG!(about age 4-6), moved on to a ATARI2600 (I was about 9, my mom worked for Atari at that time, so I had all the games. :D). When we returned from Asia (lived there for a couple of years) I got a C64 (about age 12) and later (17?!) I moved to a to a ATARI ST.

THEN came my first PC'ish thingy in 1994 (66 MHz and 8 MB RAM!!!)... TIE FIGHTER Was the way to go! LOL! :D Loved that game!

yeah that sounds very familiar with how i grew up with pong and such but not the asia part just usa for me.. was bitten by the gaming bug and hasnt never gotten out my system.. watching cartoon and playing gam,es at my age.. que toys'r'us song and that will be my theme song for my life

    38 here.

Like the other 'mature' gamers, I started on Atari's, ZX Spectrums, and tape drive Commodores.

Ah the hours wasted waiting for a new tape to load. Sweet times!

For me it would be Mattel adverts, they were pretty strong in Germany when I was a kid and had a high tv presence. But the songs of my life would probably be Bravestarr, The Raccoons and Saber Rider. :D :D :D

31 a veteran of the commodore 64 era.... waiting 5 minutes just for a game to load and then squinting like a son of a bitch trying to make out the shitty on screen graphics :D really should of sent my laser eye surgery bill to commodore lol

    22. And I must say, I shouldn't be surprised that this forum has an unusually high ratio of 18+ posters/visitors.

For a game as linear as this, there sure is a lot more educated banter and speculation going on.

30, goin on 31 December 7th. There's a lot of 20/30 year olds I see. Good now I don't feel too too old lol. I grew up in the Thunder Cats era and LOVE 80's soft rock and 80's R&B.(among many types of music). The "freedom" and "care free spirit" of the 80's,early 90's is what most kids/teens these days haven't truly experienced, without being judged, especially with expressing themselves through art/music/clothing etc.

Anyway, I'm a big fan of the walking dead game,(and show). Actually a big fan of zombie movies,..i love horror movies and all forms of movies in general.

It's really cool. we should stay in our Childhood for ever, even at 80 years old

^^ lol I totally agree with that! It's all about living in the "NOW", doing all the things that bring you joy and excitement, that you love. There's never a reason in life to not be your true self, at any moment in time :))
