@the zombie flanders : I remember playing Wing Commander on a 286 back in the day. Had to back down one DOS version to make enough room to load the last diskette on my 20MB (that's right kids - that is an M not a G) drive.
Like the other 'mature' gamers, I started on Atari's, ZX Spectrums, and tape drive Commodores.
Ah the hours wasted waiting for a new tape to load. Sweet times!
38 And my first computer was the TI/994a. I still have and play with my Tandy TRS80 and it's cassette tape drive on a tv that I have to use the TV/Computer switch on to make it work
I remember the day's of Pong, Atari's and standing in line at the arcade to play new NEW Asteroids!
someone mentioned comparing game decisions based on age.. Id like to see that. How different our choices are based on our ages.
I was talking to a HS kid about this game while he was making my smoothie and he said something like I wouldnt survive a ZA because im too old to run fast enough.. Then I replied that I'm old enough and wise enough not to be standing out on the street during a ZA. Point Taken!
Hmm Pong, Magnavox Odyssey, Atari 2600& 5200, Colecovison, Atari 400 & 800 With outboard Floppy Drive and an actual 14.4 modem! The shnizzle! Just turned 61! Whippersnappers!
43. It was great coming up from NO computers and watching the gaming industry evolve.
Yeah ! Absolutely ...
I'm nearly nearly 42.
I'm also playing online games sometimes, and when I say my age to others they don't want to believe it
It's funny.

Oh no! You didn't have a Magnavox... I'm SO jealous right now.
I love that commercial. Hockey, tennis, football! Not pong, because we don't have the rights, but way better because you get to physically lay static backgrounds over the screen and pretend its a whole new game!
I've been playing video games since I was in elementary school, starting with Mario Bros. on the NES. Totally not regretting spending $50 at GameStop to buy The Walking Dead on the Xbox LIVE marketplace (with the addition of a Gold membership card).

don't believe that...then again it all makes sense now..
Almost as scary as that zombie Clementine scene.
The toddler comment helped.
I'm 23 also, and I'm also a huge Mass Effect fan too!

I always end up buying ammo after playing an episode
I am the 82 year old one and still waiting for episode 4.
