The canon of the game

I know the game serves as part of the comic canon but there is one thing I'm confused on: Lily's father. In the comics, Lily's father name is Everett Ray Caul and his death is by walkers while in the game her father is Larry and his death is by Kenny dropping a salt lick on his head. Does this affect the canon of the game?:confused:

    Lily's father is never mentioned in the comics. Some stupid wiki about her father supposedly a leak from the upcoming book which is out in october. Since the book is out in october, no one can say if the wiki is right or not.
