Quick question about requirements.

edited September 2012 in The Walking Dead
First of all, hi. First thread and post on these forums.

Second of all, I did read the Tech support FAQ thread, but it wasn't very detailed. So I was wondering if someone could help me out to whether or not my laptop could handle this game.

It has..

RAM: 4GB RAM

Graphics: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 series

Processor: And Intel Core duo 2, 2.40Ghz

And plenty of free space. I was just wondering about the processor and graphics mostly.

I really wanted to d/l it for my xbox, however I live in Aus and telltale didn't submit the game for classification in Australia.

PS - @Telltale, Aus classification laws are changing as of Jan 1st 2013. I hope you reconsider releasing this game for consoles in the future.

Well I'm one step away from buying it, just need to know if I will actually be able to play it first.

From the info I found here your CPU and RAM are good enough but the video card might not meet the requirements. The minimum requirement for a video card is one with 512MB Ram and the 3400 series for the most part comes with 256MB.

Thanks for the reply. I figured as much. And I truly hate playing PC games with the graphics dumbed down for performance. Might need to upgrade to a desktop.

I'm from Aus, I can still get this game on PC, right?

Actually, that would be the only choice. You can buy it in the Telltale store (credit card or Paypal) and you'd download it from there, wherever you are.

Thanks, going to upgrade. Still, I hope they release it on consoles next year when the legislation act hits.
