Yeah, there'd still be zombies, but they'd have to try and gum you to death. :p

LOL, kinda reminds me of the Father Ted episode "Night of the Nearly Dead" with the zombie-like horde of grannies.

I don't even think amputation would help. Remember how you could amputate the teachers leg in ep 2 and he died anyway? that was with Katjaa who had atleast veterinary training. The only person who could do it properly and have any hope of keeping Lee alive afterwards is Vernon and he had left by that point.

Unlike monty python, you don't just amputate a limb and shrug it off.

If Lee could set up a way to cauterize the wound immediately after amputation he'd be fine. This is an adventure game, so I'm sure Lee could come up with something.

last episode is gonna be epic, you'll experiencing all the symptoms of the infection while trying to save the group best finale. Just add Bazilllion guns and fireworks as a nice touch.

what if he was just scratched? didnt look like bite marks to me. The virus is inert until death unless chomped on, then it acclerates through infection. although i do agree with others in think we will be given a choice from Clems perspective, assuming lee is indeed infected.

The bite doesn't pump the infection, everyone is already infected.

The bite kills you because of bloodloss and infection, so Lee still has a chance.

A slim chance sure, but a chance.

    Pretty much this!

All the bite does is kill you faster, if Lee can amputate his arm before running up the fever then he has a chance to survive.....

To be fair though a one armed Lee in season 2 would be annoying to control!!

He doesn't have to be in season 2. I just don't want him to die since we have fought so hard to keep him and Clem alive this whole time. Plus Clem needs him!

This was a genuine shocker for me. I didn't think they would go down that route.

Lee will die for sure, the important thing is how telltale will give clem a future in this world. Maybe father or mother are still alive, we'll see. Clem just going of with our group wouldn't be enough though...

When I saw the zombie bite Lee, I instantly went 'Oh nonononoooo, they took this route for the story? So cheap man, so *bleep* cheap.'
And since it was at the ending of ep4, my excitement towards episode 5 has been greatly reduced as a direct result, since Lee and Kenny are the only characters I 'care' about.
There wont be a good ending for Lee, TWD doesnt have a cure or immunity, arm wasnt chopped off, Lee's dead no matter what. So yeah, sucks.

Do you even know what the Walking Dead is all about? There is no happy endings

I think this is way for the game to one-up even the comics. You always know Rick will make it, you can't kill him, the story would end right there.

This is what I was thinking all through the game too. "It's okay, I can go ahead, nothing can hurt me. I can't die, Lee can't die." Well, here we are, guess I was wrong.

I'm dumbstruck, it happened so easily. I even checked the boxes before grabbing the walkie-talkie, but I guess it's the smallest slip-ups that get you.

    Goddamn, man, goddamn.

There may be no happy endings but there is always hope and desperation. Both of which could lead to an amputation saying that though I don't think TTG wants to have a character with a stump when Rick has one in the comics. People might say "Can't you come up with something original" or something along those lines.

Personally I think TTG should make amputation an option, only to have it lead to death. Then at the least they can say "Hey, the option was there, what'd you expect, some history teacher to know how to cleanly take off half an arm and then cauterize the wound?"

true because lee getting bitten was a huge spoiler for ep5 so i think lee is imune to that bite disease and dont tell no one was imune on comics because this aint comics and season 2 will be episode 6-10 not 1-5 so it may have the same main characters

Nope. Lee is dead. Dead. Deadeadeadeadeadeadead. DEAD. Kirkman has stated HIMSELF that no one in TWD is safe from death, or immune to the infection, and that there will never be a cure. It's been too long since Lee was bitten, and they didn't even have any sharp objects on hand to cut his arm off with. He is going to die no matter how much you try to convince yourself that he is "immune" or there is a "cure" or that it's not too late to cut off his arm.

The ending is shocking. The only way I see them salvaging Lee is by making him immune to the virus. If it some how doesn't affect him they can possibly take the game to a new angle by somehow trying to find a cure using using his blood.

I've played episode 5. Either Clem can kill you be crying and see two people after she runs or she can leave you,you will become a walker and boom. Telltale I will buy season 2 but you guys are idiots, killing lee why Clem deserves more.and Kenny!?idiots... Look if I don't see Clem in season 2 then I'll be mad so please let Clem be in season 2 like if you agree
