PSN > PC,Xbox? really?

edited October 2012 in The Walking Dead
alright wth telltale.. Ive been a loyal customer of your products for a while now, love SAM and Max, back the future was bad ass, and the walking dead ceases to amaze me.. but i what i cant understand is why in the hell u have stabbed me in the heart 2 months in a row... im a pc gamer, always have been, always will be.. when u released the walking dead on pc, a format that this type of game is MEANT to be played on i was glad, but the current episode and last months have gotten me really ticked.. how dare u guys release it for PSN first.. da hell i was here first.. PSN sucks and none of my online community friends own an PSN, why is it so hard to give it to PC users first? we love you just as much as all the other gamers, maybe even more, Why do u poop on the PC gamer like myself that cant wait to play this episode.. i was tempted to punch someone at work today who nearly leaked the contents of todays episode he had the opportunity of playing before work.. i didnt believe that he had access to it till i came home and saw all the release date for pc.. im sure there are others that support me on this, please release episode 5 for PC first.. even over XBox cause mine is gathering Dust and i dont wanna plug it in to hear people talking about how great the ending was when i didnt get a chance at it..

Edit... to all the idiots posting spoilers.. go F yourself.. not everyone has had a chance to play it yet.. so really.. go F.. yourself..

PC got it first for Episode 1, X-Box got Episode 2 first, and PS3 got Episode's 3/4 first. I'm sure they'll do something to balance it with Episode 5.

But even then, I'm not even sure if they can do anything with the release dates, since their games are essentially 'DLC', it'll be up to Micorsoft and Sony for when it can really be released. I'm sure the soonest possible date for whichever system is what the game is given, and for the most recent two episodes, that so happened to be the PS3.

Telltale games has less control on the release date than PSN does. There's no way for Telltale Games to sync the release times of PSN and X-Box Live together. It's up to them on the actual date and time. The best, I believe, is Telltale can sync within the same week and as close in terms of days, possible.

As for PC, maybe they could have released it today. I don't know. But they probably thought it was a better idea to sync later with the LIVE network than with PSN's. I don't know.

As for posting spoilers, a lot of they do have spoiler tags on them. If you are talking about the ones that don't do spoiler tags, maybe.

In any case, Jesus, come on, dude. What the heck?

Don't be hating. Xbox got Episode 2 TWO days before Pc or Ps3, now Ps3 got Episodes 3 and 4 ONE day ahead of Xbox and Pc. Evens out to 2=2 to me :p

No, it's a game for multiple systems. It sucks that the 350 got the game earlier at times, and that the PS3 got it earlier at times, and that the PC is always synced with the later release, but guess what? it's only one or two days. And this is coming for a PC gamer.

    It's not a huge delay.

Is a day or two really that terrible to you? I'm on Xbox and I'm okay with waiting another day, no big deal. I can see if it was a week or so but one day is hardly anything to get worked up about.

The PC still got the original game before any other system, so there's really no reason to complain. Like someone said earlier, X-Box got it two days before PS3 and PC for Episode 2, so if PC gets it first for Episode 5, with only a day ahead, it should actually balance out.

(Truth be told, X-Box had to wait like a week for Episode 1, but what ever. And no, I'm not an X-Box user)

The point is.. even if they release it on all systems.. this is a PC type game.. i wouldnt expect something like assassins creed releasing on a pc first.. cause thats a console type game.., also with PC release its easier to fix bugs that are bound to happen a lot easier than it would be on a console.. i heard someone has a corrupted save and has to redo their whole game on PS3..... PC is troubleshoot mode, and for that reason alone it should be on PC before console..

Look, that's just your opinion - and you are changing your rationale. Come on, man.

Thanks. I got it direct from Telltale, though, I'm going to have to wait. Which is fine.
