Is anyone else still having download issues (PC) with episode 4?

I see that there is a sticky from telltale on the matter. I'm still having that connection error even after re-launching the application. Is anyone else in the same boat?

No, the patch worked for two computers for me. I found the direct download easier than the patch that replaced it. Did you follow all the instructions correctly? They confused the hell out of me. I'd try it again or backup your saves entirely, maybe reinstall entirely if it gets so bad.

I still had download problems. They suggested removing the game and all saved files from my computer and starting from scratch. I hated losing all my saved games, but after that the download worked fine, and I was able to play all episodes without issue.

Same here. A complete new reinstallation with all prefs and saves removed IS very tedious considering you'll have to download all episodes besides number 1 again, but this has worked for me as well. It might be worth the effort. :o

im still having the issue but i havent got time to re download the whole game and lose saves, i put a lot of time into the game so far over a long period of time, so unless they provide a fix that sorts the issue ill never get to finish the game.

I feel your pain! After waiting for the download issue to be fixed, I was so excited to have Telltale release a patch. I thought it would be smooth sailing after that, and I would get to download and play with no problems. But the patch didn't work for me at all, and I had to throw out my two save slots, which had about 16 hours of game play, and the third save slot that was my son's, which was around 9 hours of play. Fortunately, when I had to download all of the game again, it already comes with Episode one on it, so you don't have to sit through it downloading at least. For whatever reason, Episode 2 took 4 hours to download, while 3 and 4 were each under 2 hours, so close to 8 hours to get everything downloaded again. I live in a rural area, so "high speed internet" here is a joke compared to most places. Unfortunately, I don't see any other solution if you want to continue to play, unless you have not tried any of the work arounds offered by other members. I have enjoyed the game and felt Episode 4 was well worth playing, so if you have any way to get this downloaded and replay the episodes, I think it will be worth it. I am just hoping there are no problems with Episode 5. Good luck.

i think iill wait till episode 5 is released as it probably gonna happen again given telltales track record, imagine reinstalling everything only to have to do it again when ep5 screws the game up again.
