Will we then be able to buy the whole season, or just episode 201 with an option to upgrade later?

the whole season should be roughly 34,95$..it was mentioned somewhere in this thread already.

So... what IS the release date? And can I still buy the entire season in one go?

do you think everyone paying at once will slow down the process?

No. Last year we only got a few hundred preorders spread out over 3-4 days before launch, but thousands of people came to the site to buy on launch day. I don't remember any problems with all those people trying to buy at once (although there were some activation problems for the people who preordered, which was frustrating for everyone involved...)

We are going to be using a different activation system this year that will make the download process a lot quicker and easier. You won't have to wait for the email with your download link in it, and you will be able to download the game from any site that's hosting it -- so if Telltale's site is slow, just grab it off GameSpot or FilePlanet or whoever else is hosting it. The whole experience should be much better for everyone. :D

(That said, we've also invested in a more awesome download network, so slow downloads should only happen for people with slow connections)

But my banknotes are telling me they want to go to California. I've been keeping them quiet by feeding them pennies, but I'm running out of those :(

Ah well, I'll spend them on the soundtrack instead. Still haven't bought that for some reason.

e: Oh, now I remember. I didn't buy them before because I'm in the US this semester, and why pay extra for shipping if I can lug the stuff home to Europe myself? Now is the time though.

Gamespot downloads are only speedy for subscribers.
