edited December 2012 in The Walking Dead
I'm making this poll to mostly show Telltale that fans don't want Lee to die.Hopefully I am right but the poll will show us what the fans want!

Do I want him to die? no!
    Will he die? yes!
Sadly it's over for Lee,let's hope he goes out in style...

    Don't die lee :(
  • edited October 2012
Well, I don't WANT Lee to die, but I'm sure he will. Once you're bitten, you're dead. Even if it looks like "just a scratch". So I voted yes. Sorry.
  • edited October 2012
No but at the same time it feels like a fitting ending at this point.
  • edited October 2012
I don't want him to die, but bite without immediate amputation = Death.
  • edited October 2012
Dude, all due respect, but Lee's toast and I'd probably lose a lot of respect for Telltale if they reversed their decision.
  • edited October 2012
Telltale could make the story have a different turn. For example...the bite not being deep enough.Lee having some kind of immunity to the zombie virus. The guys finding a doctor with a vaccine.Or all the last part being a mistake by Lee or a dream.

I do now. If he hadn't already been bit then I'd have said no, but he has and they can't change that now.
  • edited October 2012
    NOOOOO!!!!
I don't want lee to die, i misread the question and answered yes, I thought you were asking 'do you think lee will die'

    NOOOOOO!!!!!
  • edited October 2012
    NEEERD!YOU ARE SOOOO LARRY! :p
  • edited October 2012
I voted no because I don't WANT him to die, but at this point I'd rather him die than have some bs cure. So if I could, I would re-vote to say yes.
  • edited October 2012
Well...they could find another way to present it if he is to survive.
  • edited October 2012
I don't really think anyone wants or wanted him to die. But it's gonna happen anyways. I've voted No though D:

Hell no! Lee and Clem are all each other have in this world. Imagine if Lee died, how heart-broken Clem would be. Take a look at comic Rick. He has gone through more than 100 issues without being bitten. Why can't Lee survive?
  • edited October 2012
i would be annoyed if it turned out to be a dream or it was just a scratch/graze, or if he turned out to be blind all along ;)
  • edited October 2012
This is the most bias loaded wording I've ever seen in a poll.

Do I want Lee to die? No.

Is there a way to reverse all that has happened in a way that sticks with the cannon of the established fiction? No.

Is Lee dying or turning the most plausible way to maintain the integrity of the narrative? Yes.

Imagine him, waking up in the police car. With the dead officer laying next to the wreck. That would be awesome.

No, it would be a waste of our time. It's kind of how I felt after reading all 7 of The Dark Tower books.

yeah the "it was all just a dream" ending is always the worst story ending ever
  • edited October 2012
Having it be the whole"It was just a dream none of that really happened" is one of the worst written and laziest ways to end any story. If it was just a dream, there was absolutely no point to anything that we did in the game.

thats why at the end of inception i just decide the spinning top falls else the whole film was pointless

Killing off the main character, that we loved is the easiest way to end a story either.

i guess its easy, but it's hard to pull off, if they did it would be epic, but him surviving after a bite would be to unbelievable in TWD universe
  • edited October 2012
Yeah, I know he's going to die anyways. I just think it's too simple to end the game like this.

    Dear. God. No.
or if he turned out to be blind all along ;)

This I would accept though. :p

No no it doesn't have to be like that, they could find many excuses far better than this to keep him alive.

TT games had Lee's death planned all along

    Because Lee is black ?

Edit: TTG, if you kill Lee don't expect to see "The Walking Dead 2" in my Steam library.

The black thing is a joke, right?

Haha good measure to protest against Lee's death!I will be VERY disappointed if they kill him in the end.I do stress VERY

I haven't loved a gaming character that much for a long time.

I really hope they don't do that.

    That'd be a cheap cop-out.
    Foinikas wrote: »

I don't think so. The comic never made a mention of a vaccine, and Kirkman has stated that it's someting like an "infinite apocalypse". That'd go too far beyond the comic canon.

Yikes. Do you really want that to happen?

All in all, I think Lee will die. I don't want it to happen, but I can't see how he'll survive - and if he did by means of some kind of cheap bullshit reason, I'd be really disappointed. So, yeah. It's a dilemma. D:
  • edited October 2012
Ok ok I admit I WOULD NOT want it to be a dream, but why not Lee having a flesh wound or being mistaken that he was bit while it could be...i don't know something different?

You could play the immunity card or at least limited immunity or something. It's been used in many other zombie movies and/or games.28 Weeks Later?Left 4 Dead?

I JUST WANT LEE TO SURVIVE DAMMIT,I LOVE THIS CHARACTER!
  • edited October 2012
Yeah, I think we all want that. Odds are still that he'll die. It's a shame. :(

Unless Telltale comes up with an original, clever idea to save him. That'd be really cool.
  • edited October 2012
Yeah.Like a fan-demand patch that changes the last scene :p

For once I wish they listened to the people's demand!WE WANT LEE TO LIVE!
  • edited October 2012
    He's dead, Jim!
  • edited October 2012
Not sure...Telltale has been great at surprising us. Who would've thought that Doug/Carley would've died in episode 3? And who would've thought that a child would die? Hell, who would've thought that Lee would get bitten?
