A Suggestion To Not Spoil For Telltale Staff
Hello Telltale Staff, I have a simple suggestion regarding ''The Walking Dead Story Discussion- SPOILERS'' forum, can you hide the Last Post section of it?? Because sometimes the name of a thread in that forum may spoil.
Here is pic if you don't get the problem. ::
Thank you,

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a solution in this forum's mechanics. We have to go along with it for now.
unfortunately ppl are either thoughtless or a$$holes lol
It's alright, we're all grown up, you can swear here.
It's not that easy, really.
I've tried to put together some guidelines for creative and non-spoilery thread naming, but they all have one fundamental flaw.
If you want to create thread titles users will find when they do a basic forum search to avoid that the same topic is discussed 100 times in 100 threads, you HAVE to add some key words which will tantamount to a spoiler. Just character names and asterisks do not make an identifiable thread name.
The only solution is to not display it up there, and that seems to be impossible. I had the neat idea of adding to the "welcome" thread in that forum a creation date three years in the future, so it would always be the one displayed. But even that seems to be impossible.
1: Create a separate bookmark on your web browser for the threads.
- This will make sure that you are where you want to be w/o taking any risks.
-- Problematic if you visit the forums for any other game on the site.
2: Don't look at the last post in the section.
- Personally I never even look at what the last post was as I am heading into that section anyways.
Hard Solutions:
1: (easy to do as an admin) Move the current spoilers forums further down on the main forum page and create a link in the current one. Then just lock that forum so only mods/admins can post in it.
2: You can edit the VB code to disable the last post IIRC. Been a long time since I worked with VB so things may have changed. Though pretty sure you can just edit the code to remove the last post column.
- I'm half bored enough.. Might go setup a server and give a better answer.
Fuck.
