The Walking dead Terms of use Youtube Walk through

Hello,

I tried contacting @Alan Johnson https://www.telltalegames.com/forums/member.php?u=59175 but I was unable to because the mail box was full.

How do I obtain the right to post videos on youtube, and have ads run on them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    well first welcome to the forums, and I'm not sure what you're asking, are you asking how to post videos on youtube?

    I don't think you need the right at all if that's what you're asking

    Well I want to post videos on youtube, and also allow it to be monitized. I got a request for permission to post the videos. So I need to show written permission or show something stating the terms of use of this game so that I do not get a copyright strike!

    You actually do. But most of the time you will not get contentflagged even if you don't.

    Some companies though...

    So there are 2 ways to get that permission. Either the Gamedeveloper gives the permission to you / everyone (a lot of Indies do) or you join a gaming network that Youtube trusts with those licenses. (like Machninima or The Game Station).

    Hear it from someone who should know with the example of Halo 4.
