Unofficial "retro" cover for your retail box...

First, a HUGE thanks for all of you who helped make The Walking Dead "Game of the Year"!!!

As some of you know, throughout the season I've been releasing Commodore 64 style screen shots of the the game. ( C64 Fan Art)

Well, now that the game has been officially released to retail in nice dvd/BluRay cases that you can put on your shelf, I also created some retro box art that can be used as an alternate slip cover.

The cover features the insane fan art of Ertaç Altınöz (used with permission) which was perfect for an 80's style box cover! Enjoy!

Nice but remove the bulldog. it has absolutely nothing to do with the game and is simply misleading.

Edit: Mirrors of MarkDarin's hi res pictures, unzipped same quality but 8x less in size

Misleading cover art that has little to do with the actual game is part of what makes 80's box covers so... 80's!

Good Point. Nvm then, i still find the bulldog so random, why did the artists draw him? Is there any reference to a dog I missed?

Just the dead dog Lee had to get the collar from.

Yea I knew about Walter. Still don't get the reference to a bulldog :D
Anyway i guess it's was just added randomnly.

That being said, wouldn't it be an awesome idea to find an animal in Season 2 that we could choose to take care off? A dog would be awesome in the group!.

    That's awesome!

    Damn, that's awesome. :D

Awesome cover! Glad to know that amazing fan art gets its due recognition :D.

Speaking of which, I had never even noticed the bulldog until you mentioned it, and I had checked the original post O_O.

P.S. could anyone upload what the official cover looks like? I don't live in the States so I will never get a chance to see it otherwise.

I still think all of Telltale's games should have fake Atari-style boxart.

Lilly on the cover? Is it Christmas yet?

Congratulations Dukeleto (Ertaç Altınöz) and thank you Telltale for recognizing your fans talents.

@MarkDarin- Thank you for featuring my work on this enjoyable mementos of yours. These are really priceless to me. (And shame on me when MarkDarin wrote to me about the issue and I didn't even know who I was talking with. Such a bad tragedy for me and a huge irony at the same time :))

Well, I must explain the meaning of that dog, I guess.
I drew this image before the release of the fifth episode-NO TIME LEFT. Which means this was nothing more than my expactations of the last episode.
Since I'm a huge fan of the series, I've tried to show my own angle.

!!!!!!!!!! POSSIBLE SPOILERS!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!POSSIBLE SPOILERS!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!POSSIBLE SPOILERS!!!!!!!!

Lilly comes back with the RV (no matter if you leave her on the road or not).

    According to my ending;

Lee saves Clem. Lilly gets back. Kenny gets bitten by Clem's mother and he dissappears. Everyone else is dead. Lee, Clem and Lilly manage to bring the boat to the ferry with the van. Lee sacrifices himself for Clem and Lilly to keep them safe. Lilly takes the little girl with her to Woodbury. (!)

And Clem gives Lilly's dog, the name "Lee".

Some people criticised my intention to put a false dog into the image and I answered them, "why not"? It was all a mystery on those days. You know, it is so obvious that it was not possible for us to know if we'll meet a woman named "Molly" before playing episode four. :)
The idea of the dog's existance here was only for giving Clem some emotional support after Lee is all gone.

From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU so much MarkDarin, as I said, this is the coolest kind of a feedback I ever received from someone else. And I couldn't imagine that I was about to receive it from you.

    All the Best
    Ertaç

    POSSIBLE SPOILERS BELOW!!!

The artist had a story to go with it (sort of) the dog was a dog Lilly found while she was on her journey, which then becomes Clem's dog when they get to woodbury and Clem names it Lee.That is sort of it.
