Why does everyone think that Doug is fat?

He does not look fat at all.

    Everyone?
I wasn't asked if Doug was fat, so not everyone was asked.

    He's not fat...he's just a bit overweight

"Why does everyone think ..." is about the third worst title to start a thread with. :D
  • edited January 2013
With "why DO everyone think" in second place.

He's a muncher. I cite episode 2 when they first arrive at the dairy. Munch munch munch.

Why does everyone thinks he's fat?

    Because he is?
  • edited January 2013
Everyone thinks he's fat, because Doug's a porker.

Now the real question is, who's this "everyone"?
  • edited January 2013
    He is kind of chubby.
  • edited January 2013
    He's cute. I want to po~

    Nevermind.
  • edited January 2013
    Uh, he is quite chubby.
  • edited January 2013
Fat is harsh, but by comparison to the others he is a little chubby. Not the most in need of the rations that is certain.

Saying "Everyone" is a lot easier than naming each and every person that thinks it. It's not always literal people >.>

I had a very long, very inappropriate post typed up in response to the Doug thread posted earlier, and whether he was interested in a relationship with Lee. Then the thread was closed, and my masterpiece was lost forever.

    This displeases me.

I guarantee you I will get hate spam from this, but I think i'm the only one that doesn't like Carley. No, really, I don't like her. The only reason I would save her is to tell everyone about my past.

I HATE YOU FOREVER, BURN IN THE DEPTHS OF HELL!!!!

Nah, just curious what did you not like about her? Personally I liked both Doug and Carley. Only reason I chose Carley was because she got a lot more screen time then Doug in episode one.

And far more misleading than... some people, more than a few, a great many I've seen, or my favorite "Some have said".

    Ain't nothing wrong with that.

I dislike Doug for the most petty of reasons - you like what you like, and if anyone disagrees, sucks to be them. :D

Doug is fat?! I didn't think so.
  • edited January 2013
Yeah, I don't see it either.

    I'd rate him as healthy.

Lolz. Everyone saved Carley because they wanted her and Lee to get it on. Little did they know what could have been if they had gone the other way...

He looks fat but for me he is chubby. Hes not that tall, so his body mass isnt as distirbuted than taller people who are heavy but dont lookfat

He's chubby, not fat or overweight.

You know, guys, I noticed tons and tons of arguments about "Carley VS Doug".
But I don't understand the reason for those. Really!

You like Carley more than Doug? There, you can have her in your game!
You like Doug more than Carley? There, you can have him in your game!

    What's the problem?..

There is no problem. It's fun to debate who you believe is better. No one is taking away from these"arguments" with hurt feelings or grudges. Or at least, they aren't supposed to. Hopefully, after each of the debates over which one is better, someone will leave the conversation knowing more about the character they didn't pick.

It's not that Doug is fat, but he's the heaviest one compared to the others in the group, like Lee, Kenny, Glenn, Ben, etc. Larry might be a bit bigger than Doug, but I think a lot of that is muscle.
  • edited January 2013
plump is how i would describe Doug, nothing more than that, it would probably be a bit of an advantage with the lack of food, he just has a bit of a reserve tank of energy to burn, like how Arctic explorers fatten up a bit before they set off
  • edited January 2013
Well he is pretty chubby to begin with. Wouldn't call him 'fat' per se but he is definately at least slightly overweight. Also in EP2 when he is chomping away on those cookies doesn't help ;)

Doug is fat, like Kat and Brie.

Hey! Kat and Brie just have those wide, child-bearing hips.
