The Walking Dead: Telltale Disc Edition in UK!! (10th May 2013)
I never expected to see this happen outside US but it's finally making its way to UK.
Telltale's The Walking Dead will be released on the 10th May 2013, for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Pre-order price is £25.81 (£19.55 PC) it really is very affordable (although the digital edition is still even more but this is definitely worth buying!).

Information about The Walking Dead UK Disc Edition:
Avanquest Software wrote:Right, I've got the info now.
The game we will have will simply be the five episodes currently sold online, with no additional content.
The languages supported will be French, Italian, German and Spanish.
It will include a manual.
I hope that this helps.
It's true that the PS3 version was always region free but it's better to have a PAL release instead than import.
Now I can safely say that everyone will get to enjoy TWD if they haven't, and this is a must own!

...interesting choice.
It should be exactly as the digital version, so basically what's been out so far, I'd assume.
I'm getting this! I can't wait to have my own copy!
Well, for xbox I know for sure they have Italian, cause there's an update on XBLA.
But what for other formats?
Even if not i'm getting it
I've sent an email to Avanquest Software about these questions and others (if it comes with a manual/booklet or etc).
So we all now know what we're going to get from the TWD UK Disc Edition.
(Just realized that sounded kind of sarcastic, but I'm serious, it was nice of them to let you know)
Hope there's no DRM of any kind. I should be able to play this landmark in gaming ten years from now with little trouble.
Maybe it's never going to be released in Asia because this is more of a western game and producing physical copies of it and not making any profit would be risky for the publisher.
Importing it from US or UK would be better, or just buy it digitally (cheaper).
Oh by the way, read this on Facebook (Amazon UK advertising the game).
The fu... CoD graphics?! Crappy graphics? Rubbish? This guy seriously doesn't know what he's talking about.
It's definitely one of the most stupid and ridiculous comments I've ever read anyone say about this game.
I personally haven't dealt with any bugs or glitches in the game. My digital format edition was for Xbox 360, though.
Well I had some minor bugs and glitches on my ps3, like missing objects or people and audio volume being decreased by itself then goes back to normal after a conversation examples: ( RV missing during Lilly cutscene decision, Katja or Carley disappear during a cutscene in the motor inn in episode 3 and in the same scene audio mix-up too.) So only episode 3 had the most glitches in my case.
The vast majority of comments I remember seeing on the first trailer for the game were similar to this. Amazing how much the public's reception has turned around.
Honestly Amazon really needs to step up their game and change the rules of how reviews work, it's as if they just don't care. I once reported the "reviews" of The Last of Us (a new unreleased game for PS3 in 2013) and they said it was within the criteria required.
I dont want to pay for digital release and slowdown/glitches of the US boxed version reported on the net have chilled me out for now.
Do any of you know if the UK/PAL has those glitches ?
Waiting for a patch !
This not new. Are you talking about the US version or the UK version of the game (PS3).
What I wanna know is if those freezes are still present in the newly released UK PS3 version.
The French version has been released since may 2nd, it's the same version of the UK (PS3 & 360 disc edition).
And all of french players who bought this game on PS3 and 360 since last week, complain that the game freezes all time on all action scenes and it is unplayable ! They are angry !
You will see this problem with the UK version released yesterday...
Believe that developers do not test their game before publishing...
However, the dematerialized version works perfectly (PSN & XBLA versions). Just this problem with the disc versions only.
I just cant have myself pay for digital release knowing that PS4 wont certainly allow me to play it again.
Please Telltale, do something.

But well, it's still worth it even if it's just to show that the fan/player owns a physical copy of the game, just wait a while and then pick up the game for £10-£15 or so.
