Lilly must back!

edited April 2013 in The Walking Dead
Lilly is one of the most charming character in the games world :o She's different from others

I know lots of people are mad at her because she ........ but she's one of the best character in TWD, she's able to shine in the season 2

We want her back

Difficult to pull off. Any meeting between a new protagonist and Lilly would be coloured by your experiences from season 1. Decisions could be partially based on her season 1 actions, swayed by foreknowledge and a perspective of a character (Lee) you're not supposed to have.

Basically, I would have my new character who doesn't know Lilly, pick all negative options (distrust her, shoot her in the face, etc) for what she did to Carley, despite the fact that my character doesn't know about the shooting, or who Carley is. The only way this whole thing makes any sense is if I'm playing someone who saw everything like Clem, or at least have one of the original season 1 survivors in the group who tells me everything about Lilly during the first meeting.

Also, Larry is awesome. When he's not throwing children to zombies. If a character you hate suddenly becomes likeable in the latest episode, they're going to die. Telltale delights in changing our judgements of a character and then pouring the guilt on.

    Couldn't agree more.

I'm semi-waiting for the scenario of Vernon not having any idea why you're so livid with him.

I know its pixels but someone said she is hotter than Carly. She looks like shes on Meds all the time. Carly>Molly>Lilly>Kat>Brie
  • edited April 2013
No. She's a cool character and all, but if she doesn't show up in season 2 then I can at least believe that she's the Lilly from the comics. (Even though Kirkman wrote The Road to Woodbury)

Lilly? Charming? And what's this about Larry being dope? This thread frightens me.

I am actually shocked and happy to see the vote results so far. 40% more votes to have Lilly back. I think it would just make the game better as a whole having someone back like her with the history from season 1. Could only be a good thing, regardless of what ppl think about her.

I don't know about Lilly but Larry was a real fairytale
  • edited April 2013
I don't know. I sure that this Lilly and Lilly from comics/novel, are not same. It means that Lilly from game are probably alive, but must she come back? Maybe later, not in first episodes of season 2, maybe even in season 3, when most of people will forget about her.
So...yes, I think that she will return one day. And her relationship with the Clem will depend of whether the cast did Lee her on the road, or not.

I would love to see Lilly back, even if it's just a brief cameo. I just want to know she's safe. She's like my Clementine - I would do anything to know she's okay.

First i hated Lilly and Larry, but i agreed with her in the situations because i think she had right in most of the things and yeah she is really pretty. So the things changed with time and I didn't hate her anymore, (but I still hated Larry and i had to be nice to him, so i was hitting the keyboard with my head). I did EVERYTHING to win her heart (I also focused on Carsey, because I thought that if one of them dies the other girl will still be with me :D ) but in the third episode my dreams broke, crushed and nuked down to hell. I wanned to go with Lilly but I couldn't.....apart from the end of the episode 5 it was the most depressing part for me.....In season two I want to get a kiss from her!

She absolutely needs to come back in season 2! It would make shooting her really difficult if she didn't.

Why the hell someone say that Lilly will be main character in season 2? O.o

I saw someones familiar post but I don't know where... :C

^ This. She killed Carley so I abandoned her. If she was to make an appearance I'd rather it be a cameo in walker or corpse form just for confirmation that she died.

Well, I didn't see her dying just like Kenny. She has more chances to survive and appear in season 2 I guess.
  • edited August 2013
I would like to see a zombie Lilly.

    Lilly is so misunderstood.
Aside from Carly killing, she is a big asset to the group.
Yeah I hate her also, but after playing the game again, she really did nothing wrong aside from the above.
  • edited August 2013
Nope, I don't want to see her face ever again. I like to think that she was devoured by the walkers. For the record, I didn't dislike her during episodes 1/2, I understand her hatred of Lee and Kenny (especially since I sided with the latter in the meat locker), but what she did in episode 3, shooting Carley with no reason at all, is inexcusable. Had she turned the gun on Lee, Kenny or Ben, I would have understood, forgiven her even, but not Carley. The only worse thing she could have done was shoot Clementine. Either way, no, I don't want to see her in season 2. Like someone already said above, it would be difficult to roleplay interactions with Lilly, since my attitude and, therefore, the attitude of the S2 protagonist towards her would be influenced by my hate.

Anyways, YES! I want her back, she's one of the most interesting and complex characters in TWD. That dead walker in Russel's story pretty much comfirms that she's alive.

Umm that random walker could of been killed by someone else . There is no evidence that Lilly killed it and i think we all know that she is alive if she takes the Rv .

I wouldn't know that as I left her on the road. I was pretty pissed at her when she shot Carley, it took me awhile before I realized how much of a genious character she actually is.

Ah, I'd knew someone would say that.
Anyway, I want her back, but I wouldn't want her to be a major character. More like a side-character we see. And, definitely not a protagonist. I'd just like to see what's become of her; crazy or otherwise. Or, maybe she died. :\

I like Lilly. I thought she was a strong person and just did what she did for the good of the group. Although I was mad when she killed Carly, but I think she was "losing" it due to the pressure of it all. And would like to see what happened to her.
  • edited August 2013
I'd just like to see what happened to her after I left her in the road. Did she become a bandit, or find a new group where she actually became a decent person? Maybe she's at Tavia's community. I just don't want her, or any Season 1 character for that matter, to overshadow the new group. She can show up for a few minutes, we find out how she's doing, then that's it. Same for the others.

I hope Lily is in Season 2 she's my fave char.. maybe she found Clementine and they go to the Airforce Base where she worked before!

Ummmm if Lilly is one of the two strangers on the hill , it would raise question like what is she doing in Savannah and how did she manage to get there ? And if Lilly is one of the strangers on the hill i don't think they would go the Airforce Base considering they would be stuck in Savannah and Mark said that he doesn't want to go back there , meaning that the Airforce Base is finished .

Personally i hope Lilly won't become Clem's caretaker in season 2 just to redeem herself and make us like her . If she is going to redeem herself in season 2 that's fine but i hope her redemption won't involve taking care of Clem and having a motherly relationship with her because it would be a big middle finger to Lee and Clementine's relationship .
  • edited August 2013
I agree, and why would she even care about Clementine after I disagreed with her on every choice, and I just do not see her getting redeemed, several people have been redeemed, Lee, Kenny, Ben in a way, so I doubt they would follow the same path for Lilly.
  • edited August 2013
The only thing I know about Lilly's experience as caretaker is she know what is the best for the group. And she gave clips or something for Clementine. (Ep. 3 cut Clementine's hair)
So I don't know how good she would be in Clem's caretaker.
  • edited August 2013
If Lily does reappear, I reckon the new protagonist will be torn with judging Lily from his/her own perspective and what Clementine (and possibly Kenny) will tell us. This may create some interesting outcomes.
  • edited August 2013
I agree on the interesting part, hopefully that means one of those options means her death.
