What if Larry never died and kills Carley/Doug instead of Lilly

Let's say that Larry survives if you help Lilly with the cpr but Ben still makes the deal with the bandits , Lilly thinks that Carley and Ben are traitors but Larry thinks that Carley AND Lee are the culprits .
After the bandit invasion , Larry is pissed that they lost the motor inn and accuses both Lee and Carley as traitors then he gets Lilly's gun and aims at Lee , Carley/Doug pushes Lee out of the way and she/he gets shot instead , they capture Larry and Kenny suggests that they should leave him but Lilly protests so it would be like the Lilly situation but instead of Lilly it's Larry and the choices are the same : leave him or not
If you leave him you leave Lilly as well because she can't control her father or if you bring him Lilly and Larry steal the RV
So yeah this is pretty much a imaginative scenario where Lilly doesn't kill Carley/Doug but Larry kills them and i want to hear your opinions .
Would you leave Larry or bring him with you ?

It's not very logical. If you tried to save him and he is revived, he'll probably be grteful to Lee (for once).

Well Lee saved his life once in the pharmacy by giving him his damn pills and he punches Lee , if you revive him he will think that Lee wanted to save him so that he can sleep with his daughter

If Larry killed Doug [who I saved], then I'd let him kneel down and take a bullet to the back of the head.

You know, I think this time he'll get it you don't want any trouble. Larry is an ungrateful bastard, but he's not stupid.

Like I said once before; Anyone who commits cold-blooded murder to any friend of mine is gonna pay the price. I'd leave him behind without hesitating. (Then again, I did help Kenny kill Larry, so...)

After all , Larry is pretty much a combination of J.Jonah Jameson and Thunder Ross , no matter how much you help him he won't change his mind

    Double standard FTW

In the end the outcome is nearly the same to the original, you only gave more ammo for Lilly by adding Larry who would have worsen the situation in the killing Carley/Doug option. Still would've been fun seeing that scene from this perspective :D

Well like i said Larry is a combination of Jameson and Thunder Ross in my opinion no matter how much you help him he won't understand .

I let Lilly live because she was paranoid and grieving because of Kenny... and accidentally shot Doug

If it was Larry I wouldn't forgive him, he wouldn't be grieving and only caused pain

If he actually tried to kill Lee but Killed Doug I would abandon him as it is outright sane murder
At least with Lilly she had an excuse and aimed at Ben (for me)

I'd leave him. I left Lilly when she murdered Carley, so I don't think I'd have much trouble leaving Larry.

I'd actually kill him, just as I kinda thought about doing to Lilly(good thing I couldn't). If HE killed the person I had come to love, there is no doubt in my mind I'd kill the bastard, and considering Lee was so protective of his wife, I could see him wanting Larry dead too. That's just me though. If it was Doug, I'd still want him dead, since he was one of Lee's greatest friends.

Thing is Lily did it because she was grieving and a bit loopy so I cant see Larry killing people. Hes sat too high on his horse judging people.

Wait, so you didn't see him punch Lee in the face and leave him to get eaten by walkers? Larry would totally try to ice Lee if he was given the opportunity, just like he tried to do at the drug store. The only thing he would regret is that Carley/Doug got in the way, and even then... He'd probably blame them for him shooting them, and say something along the lines of "He/She was too goddamn stupid to get out of the way! All I tried to do was protect my daughter!" That line really wouldn't work after blowing an innocent person's brains all over the road.

I don't really think he'll kill Carley. I'll kill the motherducker.

I left Lilly behind, so yeah, I'd leave him without even thinking about it.

He wouldn't kill Doug/Carley. In his eyes, man responsible for everything bad was... Lee.
    Who's the traitor, Larry?

He still acted like an asshole to Carley (calling her a bitch) and Doug (shoving him).

Same shit. I left Lilly behind with no second thoughts, and I would do the same with Larry. Only thing I would regret is that I didn't get the "kill" option for either.

Larry wouldn't outright shoot someone it isn't his style...
If he did there would be no excuse and I would leave him...
I only let Lilly back on because she was clearly paranoid and mentally unstable (which she admitted herself) and I wasn't going to leave her to die...
However if Larry suddenly killed someone it would be very different...

Well ... considering Larry wanted to kill a child because he thought he was bitten , he punched Lee and left him to be eaten .
Also , you never know how rage can control a person and make him do horrible things .

I can't see this situation ever happening. You say that Larry would never change, even if Lee saved his life, but Larry shows plenty of signs of warming up to Lee in ep.2 if you aren't an ass to him. Not to mention, he can save you from the walker with the axe even though it was the perfect situation to stand by and let Lee die.

Plus, considering how Lilly makes it clear she didn't agree with Larry on throwing Duck out, she wouldn't agree with killing Lee, especially if he saved her father. Plus, she wouldn't be crazy in this scenario. If Larry still hated Lee by that point, she'd make him be grateful.

For your info, it wasn't accidental, Doug pulled Ben backwards and got shot himself to save him, explain to me the "accidence", please :D

I'm not sure we could have forced the guy one way or another...
  • edited August 2013
its pretty much the same option. Itd be ALOT more interesting if you left Larry but Lilly stayed.
  • edited August 2013
I actually like Larry. I love how hatable he is. I'd keep him...

And before you ask, yes, I do like every single character... Aside from the bandits. Even campman is pretty cool in his own psycho way.

well Lilly wouldnt let you leave him :/ +I don't think he got much of a reason to kill carley("that b*tch with her itchy trigger finger") or doug("dough boy that didnt want the food")

You know what Ehkay when I first met you, I was annoyed and wanted to smash my face against my computer screen and put a bullet through my brain. But now I have learned to live with you and you actually make me laugh. Well done.
