Plan for going into Crawford

What plan did you choose for how you and your group were going into Crawford? Sneak in, negotiate, or take what you need by force?

I chose to sneak in. I was so sure that plan could actually work once we got to the school. But then... walkers.

I thought we could take what we needed by force.

When coming to Crawford, there's an extra dialogue option if you chose this plan, too.

From what I had heard, they were a large armed group of Nazis.

    I opted for stealth.

Instead of taking out the zombie by the entrance with the hatchet, Lee will go up to it holding out his pistol. Thinking it's a Crawford resident, he will have multiple dialogue options to tell him to be quiet. After speaking, the zombie will turn around which gives Lee a prompt to shoot it.

His face was priceless when he saw it was a zombie :D

    Always stealth

Stealth seemed less risky, but taking it by force was cooler.
In the first playthrough I chose stealth.

I actually didn't say anything at that point. That felt like a "leader" dialogue, and I never wanted to be leader of anything. If anything went south and someone got killed (which it did) I didn't want it to be my fault, so I just stayed silent.

As leader, I felt that stealth was the best option (it usually is) but was concerned about the number of people in our group. It's hard to be stealthy with lots of people in the group. We were also low on shooters despite having numbers. Without Lilly or Carley my plan was to use the element of surprise to get the heck out of there if discovered.

Much to my relief they were all walkers and were a manageable threat so long as no one removed the hatchet that secured the main doors.....

Taking Crawford by force or negotiating, were straight away the most silly choices to go with because Crawford had the numbers and probably guns too against ours, negotiating sounds dumb not to mention we have nothing to offer. Stealth was a risky choice, but the only doable at the moment. In my first playthrough I was concerned about this decision because I thought many of us would get killed or caught and then we would have to go on suicidal rescue missions (which sounded badass) so it was time to take the risk :D

I decided to sneak in,going in guns blazing would probably get a lot of people killed I thought, and negotiating with people like them didn't sound like a good option either,so sneaking was the best in my opinion, luckily they were all Walkers,as they seemed easier to handle.

Sneak in and then Tom Cruise our way out of there :D

I picked sneaking it, I wanted to attack but I wanted everyone to come back alive, and we all did, even with my god awful stealth skills.

Sneak in, I didn't want anybody else to die.

    I was STEALTHY

Seems most people were also stealthy, and I thought I had to practice playing Metal Gear before going to Crawford, which is good since I really suck at Metal Gear.

That is how I saw it, negotiation is going to get us all killed fast, I even thought that would be a game over screen, and fighting would work we would just lose a few group members, so sneaking around it was.

I chose stealth but its a lot cooler to choose to attack and then draw the gun on the "guard".. Kenny and Lee are badass

Yeah, Lee's got some badass lines when confronting the "guard" if you choose to use force. I always pick that in subsequent playthroughs.
