Everybody says that because Clem will remember Lee's words and actions it's gonna change her fate somehow . I don't want to be party pooper but .....
"Carley will remember that" then she gets shot by Lilly
" Kenny appreciates your support" then he disappears or dies offscreen
'' Duck thinks you are awesome " then he gets bit and dies
" Shawn will remember that " then he gets eaten by walkers
" Lilly appreciates your support " then she kills Carley/Doug and she runs away
'' you told Ben not to tell Kenny about his deal with the bandits " he does it anyways
These are examples of how Lee's words and action din't manage to save these characters and yet how do we know that how we played as Lee is gonna save Clem from some horrible fate in season 2 if she appears or worse becomes a monster no matter what ?

Carley will remember that you stood/or not by her no matter what, it's not her fault she got killed.
With Duck is the same, if you high-five him he will think your cool and will like you. Again not his fault that he got bit.
Shawn died by walkers, but he died with the thought that you helped him.
Lilly might reappear in later seasons, so if you decide to side with her, she will remember you as the only who understood her, and her behaviour towards other survivors if she encounters any, may be less aggressive/paranoid your pick.
Ben couldn't keep his guilt anymore, it's realistic that he would't listen to you and tell Kenny anyway I suppose.

Well we can't keep Clem safe only if Telltale lets us
Every action you made in front of Clem will shape her personality for later seasons. If your Lee is good most of the time then Clem will be more good than evil. But if you chose to be evil as hell then... sorry Clem:cool:

Those characters DID remember all the things you said to them, they just ended p dying. It's not their fault, and if they lived then yes, they WOULD have taken what they remembered into account. Clementine survived. She remembers everything Lee said to her. I'm sure she'll be changed based on what he said.

Maybe "XY will remember that" is a code for "XY is going to die soon."

I din't say that how they died it's their fault all i said is that people think that Lee's actions are gonna change Clementine and possibly help her in the future but his words and actions din't stop these characters from dying so how are we so sure that Clem is not gonna bite the dust no matter what ? I can imagine Telltale wanting to make season 2 much more emotional with Clem dying so then the fans can get angry and it will be Carley's death all over again and we will get the same answer from them and Kirkman " This is the Walking Dead , no one is safe " .
to be honest , these characters are gonna love you forever , their opinions about you will be the same no matter what , Larry was a jerk and no matter how much feed him , treated him and his daughter like some saints he will still hate your guts before he died
Carley if you told her that you don't trust her with your secret she will still like you .
Omid and Christa are still going to take care of Clementine and help even if you treated them like dirt
With Kenny and Lilly it's much difficult because sometimes you can't tell what they are thinking about
Campman even if you din't steal from him he will steal Clem because of our own decisions .
Hell if i treated Clem like dog poop she will still be my nr.1 fan , so how are we so sure that Telltale won't change her personality their way instead of our way ?

The thing is, it says that for every character. For example, i said something to Shaun (I cant remember what) and it said he would remember that. A few minuites later, he died. I replayed the scene again and said something else instead of what i said last time. The outcome was still the same. So don't get your hopes up.

Who ever is still alive will remember what you said, what they say and when is unknown but they will.
