What if Carley/Doug never died and helped Lee against Campman

Let's say that Carley/Doug survive and when Clem is kidnapped he/she stops the walker trying to bite Lee and he never gets bit and he/she go with him to save Clem no matter what and they go with him to the Marsh House and when Campman appears and when he accuses Lee of his decisions , Carley/Doug defend Lee's decisions for example :
Campman : You abandoned a defenseless grieving woman .
Doug : She tried to kill a friend of ours , it was dangerous to keep her around .
Carley : She tried to kill me , Lee did the right thing . How would you feel if this woman tried to kill one of your friends .
So do you guys think that this would of been a great idea of having Carley/Doug go with Lee to save Clementine and defend him against Campman if Telltale never killed them off ? And i want to see your examples of Carley/Doug defending Lee's choices .

I don't think that the final confrontation would have had the same impact if we weren't alone in trying to justify our actions.

Agree. The finale wouldn't have enough weight, it was all about Lee the only one going all the way to save Clem and facing off the campman alone.

Although it would be interesting to see how Doug/Carley storyline would have continued.

Here is my own thoughts about Carley defending Lee against Campman.

Lee: "Everything was just there for the taking. We were starving. Do you-"
Campman: "For the TAKING? Do you know what you took from me?"
Lee: "Don't you start on who took what from who."
Campman: "I didn't take her from you, I rescued her from you. Don't you get that?"
Carley: "If this was a rescue, she wouldn't be trapped inside a room like a hostage."

Lee: "Got sick on my way to class, cancelled it and went home. Found her there with someone else. Killed him."
Carley: "You told me that it was an accident."
    Lee: "It was."

Campman: "You walked a little girl to a dairy farm full of sick people, and let them get their hands on her."
Lee: "I was trying to find a place where she could be safe."
Carley: "We were all starving, low on food, and they offered enough food for all of us. We didn't know they were cannibals until it was too late."
Campman: "You let a boy get dragged through a window and into the night so you could protect this pretty girl with a gun."
    Lee: "You weren't there."
Carley: "Lee's right, and fuck you! We both needed him and he was gonna help us both, but there wasn't enough time to save both of us."
(I agree on how this part would sound like) Campman: "You abandoned a defenseless grieving woman."
    Lee: "She deserved it."
Carley: "She tried to kill me. Lee did the right thing. How would you feel if this woman tried to kill one of your friends?"
Campman: "You brought her into the most dangerous part of the city where she could've died."
Carley: "Lee's taught her more than enough survival tactics so that she could take care of herself. She saved lives out there."
Lee: "I couldn't leave her at the house alone."
Campman: "SHE WOULD'VE BEEN BETTER OFF!"

Campman: "You're a monster. You're a murderer, and a thief, and I'm gonna hurt you both so bad."
Lee: "It doesn't have to be this way."
Campman: "You can't take care of anyone!"
Carley: "Fuck you! Lee's managed to keep Clementine alive ever since the beginning of all this shit. He's preserved her, protected her, and done more for her than anyone."

Campman: "I know how to be a dad, you know. She wouldn't be exposed to what she has been with you."
    Lee: "No. Shut up."
    Campman: "It makes sense."
    Lee: "It's not happening."
Carley: "Clementine will see bad shit no matter what happens. But you know what? It doesn't matter. Lee has been more of a father to her than you could ever be."

After the conversation ends and Clementine whacks Campman and Lee kicks Campman off of him, Carley goes for the gun. Once she picks it up and tries to aim for his head, he grabs the gun too. Carley knees him in the gut and he attempts to punch her, but Lee tackles him straight into the closet, headbutts and chokes him to death. If that doesn't work and he tries choking Lee, Carley would kick him off and shoot his brains out.

(This is just what I was thinking in my head about what would happen if Carley was there.)

Things wouldn't have gotten as bad as it did in the Marsh House if Carley was around. Carley would just show up at precisely the right time, like she always does, and put a bullet in Campman's head. :D

I would be happy not to strugle against campman

No, Lee has to be bit to get through the herd. Clem might never get kodnapped. This is the supersmileyhappy ending that could not happen. It would have been a poor ending... And why does Carley have to say 'Fuck you' every time.

Just because Lee doesn't get bit it doesn't mean that it is a happy end , because Clem will still see her dead parents , and if Lee and Carley/Doug survived , they would make it to the country side and all of them will be sad that they lost Kenny and Ben and wondering what happened to Omid and Christa and then they see the two shadows on the hill .

this is a bit of a "what if aliens landed" or "what if Lee was a wizard" type thing, the answer is that it wouldn't have been the same story

My guess is it would play out about the same, just with more dialog and Carley maybe living through the game.
