Clementines New Guardians

edited June 2013 in The Walking Dead
It's been speculated that the new DLC '400 Days' will feature a choice in which somehow the player must choose two characters to meet Clementine on the outskirts of Savannah.

Now this has me thinking, if this is true. Who would I choose? So I thought this topic would be fit for open-discussion on which of the five characters is chosen (I still hope to god we see Christa, Omid, Lilly, etc.)

Alright here we go.

Vince: There's no way I am choosing Vince. From what I've seen he is a criminal, to the point where it's even speculated he did multiple crimes in order to get to the position he is in.

By those means, there's no way I want to risk Clementine being in danger of him. Whilst he may be good in gun-play he may also act immorally and whilst the 'But Lee was also a Prisoner' argument could be used. Lee accidentally murdered someone for cheating on his wife, he never chose to get arrested.

Vince seems to have risked arrest, so no way.

Bonnie: There's way too little to know about this character besides the fact she was hiding in some sort of crop field. This may show she has 'stealth' but to be honest if she is being hunted I can't make Clementine take that risk UNTIL we know what happens in the episode with her.

Besides we still don't have any idea of her relationship with the cancer survivors.

Shel: Possibly, since there's no sign of Christa and Omid - It'd be nice for Clementine to have a mother figure to look up to. Bonnie seems to be a nice enough person, but she doesn't display any skills.

Once again only a possibility.

Russell: Definitely. He has graduated university, he is seen being independent and to be honest if he just generally seems intelligent. I'd love Clementine to be under the wing of this guy/

Wyatt: Hell no. Once again another person who seems experienced with guns, but a car chase? Jesus, there's no way I am putting Clem under danger of such horrible acts.

What do you guys think? Who would you pick? What's your reasons?

You got Shel and Bonnie mixed up I think. Bonnie is the stealth person you are talking about in the cropfields, and Shel is the girl in the green shirt with the cancer survivor people.

Wyatt for sure, the dude will take care of clementine.

Personally I think the two silhouettes at the end of season one have nothing to do with the DLC.

I've thought about this Russel at first glance looked like Omid to me and the shortest person of them all. So I thought he may've been the 2nd person on that hill with the other being Shel or Bonnie. I have a feeling maybe Bonnie moreso but the timeline is way off but those two might survive.

Agree + I do not think that Clementine could live for another 400 days, it's too long time.

I bet she could very well live more than 400 days, she can use a gun, and the group gave her good advice. She isn't any less capable than an adult any more.

Cool your jets their rambo. The amount of speculation in these forums is unbelievable. Literally millions of theories are built from the smallest things. Clem got snipped with a baratt 50 cal after the scene in the credits shes is kia.

The persons in this DLC will not be the persons on the hill because it will be Christa & Omid, but I would choose Shel because she looks like Lilly & then Russel.

I have always wondered about clementine and what happened to her.

Looks like Vince and Wyatt are the closest thing to baddassery for the new The Walking Dead 400 Days DLC. Was wanting the people at the hill be Jay and Silent Bob..but Vince and Wyatt took their place. :P

Please don't flame me. I heard these episodes are short. So has Telltales announced how short, or are we suppose to believe their the same length as the first season.

Nice quote from the game, but I can't recall being aggressive, or... overly excited about my post. Or is objecting to a statement considered as starting a fight nowadays? I was just saying, that she is not any less capable than an adult, okay... she's scared easily, but besides that she's overly brave for her age, and smart and more than everything else small, in other words hard to grab, and due to her little size even quite fast, and... uhhh... what was the word for it... nimble? or... agile.

Lol what? Have I in some way been offensive. I just said practically Clem is not key to the walking dead for all we know we not ever see her again.

I doubt that will happen. If Telltale hadn't planned on bringing Clem back,
the epilogue scene wouldn't have existed.

When the final scene fades to black in Season 1, that would have been the perfect situation for those who like to use their imagination to decide what happens next.
The epilogue scene adds too much ambiguity for that plot thread to just be thrown away; the ending of the game has enough ambiguity by itself if that were their plan.

Clem's new guardians, HAH! I say she meets two fifteen year olds and proceeds to protect THEM.

No, not at all. I just said I don't have to cool my jets. ;)

Ha, exactly. Besides, girl who can make instant headshot with 44. Magnum (true skill):), can protect herself. But seriously, I prefer Russell to new guardian of Clemmy, he's young, he can be big brother to her.

I just had a crazy thought. What if out of the five characters played, only two survive an (and this is just a theory) overrun of the pit stop and the two eventually head out into the country to encounter Clementine.

    It's just a theory.

    It's just a theory.

But that would only happen at around day 100-120, if this episode truly is 400 days then this isn't gonna have that ending scene and set up season 2. Maybe we'll see two people crossing the country side like at the end at some point and we can assume its the two Clem sees.

I honestly don't like the idea of Clementine being alone, she is very skilled but I just want her to be as safe as possible.
