Please put the DLC on another location in season 2!!

So lately, I've been having minor, but annoying issues because my C: drive is full.
You are one of the worst offenders (3 GB) as to why my drive is full when it shouldn't be. Lots of programs just put crap there where it doesn't belong.

The walking dead, puts the DLC files, right in the "My documents" folder. I personally never use those default folders, but like I said, Lots of programs just fill it up no matter what. To call your DLC "crap" is of course an exaggeration, since I absolutely adored your game, but this kind of stuff just frustrates me.

Coincidentally, last Sunday I finally helped someone get past the tractor scene on her Ipad (do something about those controls while you're at it, although I won't be gifting an IOS version ever again). This got me in the mood to play again myself! But with these problems I'm having, I was also thinking of uninstalling the game.

And so I went to this site to tell about my woes, and lo and behold, there seems to be new DLC available! What a surprise! I was about to get my CC ready, until I realised I can't play this until I clean up my C drive. <sigh>

So, I would like to request for season 2 you put the DLC files in the installation folder where it belongs, and not just anywhere. My C drive is meant for system files, and not personal or program stuff.

I'd also like to know how big the download is for the new DLC, and if I can safely delete the previous DLC files (but not the save files) without it affecting the new DLC. In the meantime, I'll try to find something else to delete.

The save files take up ~13 Mb for me. :O As for the DLC, it's not even out yet so I'm not sure what you're talking about when you say it "puts the DLC files in the My documents folder."

What the heck are you doing with all the symbols? It doesn't really make it look any better and just makes me want to not read your posts.

Unfortunately, the site has not set up its encoding to be unicode. If you go to your browser settings, and force unicode, my post will display correctly.

Also, the forum doesn't display ë in user names correctly. ;)

    THAT one I can't remedy.

...400 Days is the first DLC so I'm not sure what you're talking about. Umm, Because there is no DLC before this then I am not sure how to answer your question about deleting the previous DLC...I uninstalled The Walking Dead (Not due to space problems) and when I re installed it upon hearing about the DLC, my saves were still there.

No, that’s right, I was mistaken. That’s because I saw it first on the frontpage, and the site actually doesn’t mention any releasedate, so I assumed it was already out.

You can safely delete the content of the entire SyncFS folder if you want to. It mainly contains the Episodes and Patches, and you can download them again later.

A neat alternative is creating an NTFS junction to a different drive. That way the downloadable content can still be installed, but won't take up space on your C: drive.
