Is 400 Days free for me?

I bought TWD from greenmangaming.com and was wondering if the new DLC is free for me or will I need to buy it?

    The DLC is ONLY free for Telltale store purchases. Sorry!

    So, I preordered the game before it was released from telltale.com. how do I go about getting the complementary copy if 400 Days?

    Just start up the game and go to the download section like you did for the previous episodes there will be a nice red box added for 400 days and the "GET" button will be there to allow downloading.

    And just for the sake of completeness, if you pre-ordered the game from the TTG website BUT played through the whole season using the Steam key you got because of the release day server problems, the DLC won't appear as "free" in Steam.

    You will need to download The Walking Dead season 1 from "My Games" on the TTG website. From there, 400 days will appear and you'll be able to download and play it.

    yes it should. It's best to make a backup of the savegames just to be sure.

    Alright, I went to the Downloads section after starting up the game - and it says nothing about 400 days. Any ideas? Again, I did pre-order the game through Telltale's site waay back when.

    That's usually a sign that the game doesn't have the latest patches. They are normally downloaded at startup though, so we should take a look at what's going on.
