IMO most of the supporting characters in 400 days are done, Like with danny or Justin, Justin runs away and danny dies, so TT obviously only wanted them to add to vinces story, and you can have Leland killed if you want and it not affecting the outcome, so most of the supporting characters are expendable
Most of the supporting characters may be expendable, but that doesn't mean they can't get promoted to something bigger. From what I've seen, Nate has gotten nothing but positive response, and several people, including myself, wish to see him as an antagonist in Season 2 at some point. Telltale listens to their community, but if they actually have Nate reappear or not is anyone's guess.

I would hate for him to be an antagonist, I'd prefer protagonist. Put us in the devils shoes for once and watch us become better.

He could be like the Merle Dixon of the game i guess, he was a crazy fool and killed a few innocent people but he came good in the end, that would be kinda cool lol
I think Nate will be in season 2. Nate was tied into Russel and Wyatt's stores and if you say what characters did or didnt go with Tavia there is a set of questions where Wyatt will stay if Russell stays so it think there will be a run in again.

Yeah, Nate has too many connections to the character to not show up again in the future. C'mon, Telltale, just give us a hint! A man needs the deets. My beaks not wet enough!
No,I think he should come up later in maybe season 3 if they do for some reason go that far as a kind of what the truck moment.
Sounds like a good idea. Would be a big surprise moment as a lot of people would prolly forget him by the end of Season 2. IMO, I'd like to see him sooner.
I really think he should make another appearance, he was one of the more memorable parts of 400 Days for me.
He's such a twisted character, but he was interesting in how he has these few moments of casualness and competent seriousness in-between the moments you see just how over the edge he is. Either way, I think he makes for an interesting threat, if not someone we'd be forced to work with again.
I say BRING HIM BACK!!! He was one of the best characters in 400 day's. When I first saw him I thought it was Kenny because of his hat, I thought this guy looks okay, boy was I wrong. I went back and forth from liking him to hating him to liking him, I thought he was insane when he killed those old people and that face, nothing even needs to be said about that face. He needs to be in season 2 in some form, he would make a great antagonist, I honestly do think he ranks up there with Kenny Carley Clementine Lee Omid all the good ones from season 1, as said before I will be in the crowd waving the sign WE WANT NATE!!!
I would prefer not BUT since everyone overwhelmingly voted yes, I would settle to see him in one episode for a short time/ role.
Only think I'd want to bring him back for is to kill him. Which is what I tried doing but the DLC wouldn't let me. If he is the "big bad" of season 2 I'm going to be very disappointed.
I would love to see a situation where Clementine and Russell are running from the community which is being destroyed at the minute.
They make it to the gates before a zombie comes and is ontop of Russell, Russell is losing strength and Clementine is quickly trying to reload her gun however when Russell is almost done for the walker is shot in the head.
It zooms in on the gun and we see Nate and then it ends

God, I'd love that. Telltale make Nate come back for Season 3!
Nate was really a perfect construction of a character; I really don't know if it's fair to classify him at all at this point. You really can't get a handle on him as he is always changing his attitude. He may be evil for killing two people who were defenseless, but who knows what he would've done if they didn't shoot at him. Nate might just have a twisted sense of values; if someone tries to hurt him or his buddies, he will show no mercy towards them. Every act of violence shown so far has been directed at individuals who tried to kill him or his friends.
He also did give Russell a lift instead of just killing him and if you choose the right option, Nate will actually seem a little sorry for freaking Russell out and states that his crazy nature is just to cope with things. Of course, afterwards, he nearly gets you killed by a Walker while asking you if you think the Walker was hot before rotting and this is why his character is so great. Just when you think he might be a decent dude, he does something crazy like that.
Nate is also actually pretty intimidating despite not looking like much; when he threatens you, you can tell he means it and can carry out the threat. Even if you try to shoot him with his gun when he asks you to cover him, he snatches the gun back, then runs for cover while shooting at the sniper at the same time. He handles himself well and remains calm in every situation shown so far. It would be pretty hard to actually gain the upper hand on him since he seems to always know what to do; great for an antagonistic role.
Again though, it was almost impossible to get a handle on Nate in the DLC which is why his character was so great; is he purely psychotic or does he simply not show mercy towards people who attack him? Does he have a tragic origin or was he a psychotic criminal before the outbreak (I'm actually leaning towards the latter since we've already had a good amount of antagonists with tragic origins). Who knows though, but hopefully he comes back. Telltale went out of their way to feature him in two stories, so Nate's story has already intersected the lives of two of the protagonists in the DLC.

This.
Even though I still think he'd do better as a protagonist.

I think it'd be interesting for him to appear again, but I don't picture him as being the singular main villain of season 2 either. He doesn't seem the type to have an overarching plot or vendetta going on.
YES it's going to make it, and I thought I picked a bad day to stop talking on a forum about a game with a crazy man that needs to come back *High fives WalkingDeadFan23*.

Hopefully 5 or more. But I'm betting on just 5.
