I can't really vote seeing as the first time playing I won and stayed but then I got that annoying storage lost glitch and had to replay on a different device. i chose all the same options in the episodes but lost at rock paper scissors so I had to get out.
Plus I left the cop because he looked dead already and I recognized him from Shel's story as not being so alive anymore.
I lost at Rock, paper scissors. I went out. However, neither Wyatt or Eddie does something wrong. It's just that when Nate goes on attacking the one in the car, you don't really have any choice if you want to stay alive. Both Wyatt and Eddie would leave the other one behind to survive. It's just that Wyatt is bitter after Eddie left him. His regret for leaving Eddie behind is stronger, that's why he want to join. However, the only way to get Russell to join you will be the same as you have to say to get Wyatt to join you, so if you're aiming to actually have everyone in the camp join you, it doesn't really matter if Wyatt left or didn't left the car. Funny fact is that Wyatt never meet a walker in his play through if he stays. Same goes for Bonnie if you kill the walker Russell finds on the ground.
i wanted to get out, i volunteered to do that, then won rock, paper, scissors and i thought that would mean i get to decide but it really meant Eddie got what he wanted, and i didn't think i would drive away from eddie i thought i would drive towards him and either pick him up or get help, but i guess it was a situation full of panic so wyatt was just trying to get away
I lost at rps but I volunteered to go out anyway. I dragged the guy back because I'm somewhat of a masochist apparently and I gave him the benefit of the doubt when he didn't munch on my leg right away.
That is what I don't understand. First time round I got out the car, helped the man on the ground, Eddie drove off, yet Wyatt didn't want to go with me at the end. It felt like I got punished for doing the right thing. Thoughts?
I dont know if it's the right thing. Technically, you didnt hit the guy, so you shouldnt have to go check on him (I know I sure didnt want to) but I lost at RPS. I think you have to stay in the car so that you put that guilt on Wyatt for leaving his buddy out there. It's the catalyst that makes him want to go join the new group.
Nice thing about playing both sides, you get to see what your friend had to deal with while you were helping the cop- so I dont fault him for bailing the way he did anymore.
It's funny I replayed Wyatt's story so I could get out of the car, we went down to 1-1 and he one just barely, everytime I play RPS it always gets tense as hell.
Funny I have failed to lose. I only lost once and that's cuz I chose paper every time. The other three times I succeeded without trying
Same here but I choose rock. This was on my "opposite" play through where I picked things just to see what happens. It took me a few times to lose though. lol Finally I just kept picking rock and lost... although it came down to the third game still. lol
I've played through Wyatt's about twelve times now (and I swear to you that is no exaggeration), yet I cannot for the life of me find a way to lose at Rock Paper Scissors. I'm beginning to wonder if the outcome is decided in the save already, and if I have to completely restart 400 Days to get even the possibility of losing. It really makes me mad, because Wyatt is my absolute least favorite character in all of The Walking Dead, and I really want to leave him behind.
Yeah, I didn't realize it was possible to lose either. I wanted Wyatt to go out. I tried not playing RPS, but Eddie just says something like, "Come on, man. Play the game." So I tried to lose, and I ended up winning every round by accident. So I tried rewinding the episode to see if I could get Wyatt to go out instead. I had Wyatt volunteer to go out, but Eddie still insists on deciding with RPS. I tried losing again, but I still won every round.
So I just figured the game had been programmed for Eddie to lose the RPS game no matter what choice you make.
you can refuse to play RPS but when you don't play Eddie gets out of the car, the only way i can figure to actually get out of the car is to intentionally lose RPS by picking the same choice every time (i have done it by choosing rock each time)
I almost one that way by accident, at the last moment I picked rock instead of paper and Eddie had paper, it had been the forth tie in a row so my heart was going fast.

Didn't work for me. First time I tried just going with rock every time, because that seemed like the kind of thing that someone who's bad at RPS might do. But then Eddie kept picking scissors. So on my next playthrough, I thought, "Okay, you're going with scissors. I'll try paper." But then Eddie switches to rock! It's almost like he wants me to leave him behind.
I do wonder after reading this thread though if it actually has anything to do with the choices you make during the RPS game itself or if it's based on some dialogue option you make earlier. Or possibly the order in which you play each chapter.
Maybe, that would be interesting but I really do not know, I do know it's random and not scripted, which is a good thing. It's kind of hard to cheat at RPS or lose intentionally, it's just the way RPS works.

it may be the order you do the episodes, when did you do wyatt's episode?
because chronologically it is second after Vince

I did them all out of order, so I actually ended up doing Wyatt's last. Maybe I'll try playing through again chronologically. Maybe it has something to do with when you play Wyatt's chapter in relation to Russell's since it's supposed to be Nate in the truck chasing them?
we both felt we should go, and i won at rock, paper, scissors, so as i felt i should get out, and i won the contest i stayed. not sure about that logic, though i wanted to drive over the shooter, not drive off, so me and wyatt didn't see eye to eye most of the time. i failed to connect with him, but i kept trying to do what i thought should be done, which got me shot repeatedly until i gave up on him.

yeah the rules of RPS or a coin toss and things like that should be whoever won chooses the situation

I same to you.

I got Wyatt to come at the end so I guess it's ok
