Is the model for Stephanie a real person?

edited July 2013 in The Walking Dead
I was reading some of the responses about Stephanie, as well as reading her wiki entries. From the comments and the entry, it is implied that her model is based off of one of the contest winners. However, I thought there was only one contest winner, which was Brie. Can anyone shed any light to this?

If she is indeed a real person, it feels bad that we are calling Stephanie hot in the attractive thread, among other things.

    It's obviously Emma Stone.

There were five contest winners. (Or four.)

To my belief, Doug MAY have been one, because there is a real Doug.)

Brie was one, and the last three were walkers, but one walker's model was reused as Stephanie.

So yes, there is a likeness of Stephanie somewhere in the world.

Doug's likeness was based on a TT employee, so I don't think he counts as a contest winner

There were many contes winners. Only one of them (Brie) got to die, come back as a zombie, and be killed again. Stephanie was most likely a reused zombie model.

I would like to know who those people were but it's unlikely that we will know, they did say what Bries real name was in the credits.

I hope that zombie girl/Stephanie wasn't a contest winner. Anyway, I think TT has to get additional permission from the contest winner to use the model for another character, right?

Every contest winner's name is on the credits. I believe I found "Stephanie", but I'm not sure.

Most people on the forums are saying she is the same character model as the zombie which attacks Lee in season 1 episode 5 his last stand. I think it's true they do really look alike and I think the zombie was based off a contest winner but I'm not a 100% sure.

Well, the zombie girl was a contest winner. I suppose that TT already had her permission to use her model.

True, you said you have a idea which one could be Stephanie, that persons name could be?
  • edited July 2013
Her name is on the credits, it's Anastasia Zhigulskaya. I don't want to directly link to her facebook page, though.

I wonder what'd she'd think if she went to the "attractive character" thread and saw all these people calling her hot and stuff... Annnndd one of those people was me. :D

Thanks. I think I found her FB profile since the girl with that name on FB looks a lot like Stephanie, but younger and smaller.

    Anyway, that answers that.

Well shit, you might want to apologize to just be safe, by the way what nationality is Anastasia Zhigulskaya anyway, just curious.
  • edited July 2013
I thought not giving a link to her facebook page was already an apology.. Her name appeared on the credits, everyone could have googled her name. I do feel a little bad, though.
I'm not sure where she comes from, but google shows some websites in russian.

From her name and FB profile, I have to say that she is Russian.

Since I know that she is now a real person, I have no need to check her fb profile again. I think I am done with "the Stephanie is hot" phase.

And if you are reading this, Ms. Zhigulskaya, I apologize for my comments in the "Which TWD character is attractive" thread

I think that is the best thing to do since linking her photos and her profile would cause problems. Now that we know she is a real person, let's move on. I still feel bad about the stuff I said in the other thread. Didn't know Stephanie is a real person

I think you are right, if I said something I should not have said I am deeply sorry about that, I will not speak of this again.

Me too, lets just all forget this happened and let the thread die. We do need to keep my Nate thread alive, though. ANNOUNCEMENT: I MADE A GROUP CALLED TEAM NATE, IF YOU ARE A FAN OF NATE JOIN IT BY GOING TO MY PROFILE

Since I noticed the resemblance between Stephanie and the contest winner.. I guess it's mostly my fault, lol. Let's just forget about it, I wouldn't like having people worship me somewhere in the internet.

Even though we agree to let this thread die, that doesn't mean to use it to promote another group. ;)

I noticed it too, and if you and I noticed it, I am sure others have as well.

I noticed it because the "Stephanie" zombie is plastered on the Walking Dead page at this site.

Oh, the thread is dead? I was wondering if maybe...no I guess not. The timeline doesnt fit.

Haha. We can change the subject to "Is Zombie girl a time displaced Stephanie?"

Heck, TT can always retcon the story and have the zombie girl in season 1 as Stephanie's sister or twin.

I'll go with that and thats why she was trying to escape the camp, to find her sister.

Here is a theory: As Stephanie waits impatiently by pacing back and forth inside the trailer for her execution, she accidentally bumps into a car. The car turns out to be an old Dorlean. Using her hands to guide her, she finds the car door and opens it. Once inside, she finds that everything is in order - not only there is keys in the ignition, but the car is filled with gas. She starts the car and blasts her way out of the trailer. Little that she knew, the Dorlean is a time machine, which sends her back to the 2nd day of the outbreak. Upon arriving to the past, she finds herself fatally injured from the Dorlean breaking through the trailer's door. Although Stephanie dies, her bod lives on as a walker.

But for some reason she still lives at the same time, creating a paradox more confusing then Inception, and one that Kirkmen could not fix.

But she dies in the past both human and walker form - Lee later takes out his displace anger of having Clementine kidnapped by the wonky ear stranger on walker Stephanie. Paradox solved.

Well to every door there is a key, time is a funny thing, you just never know what will happen.

What if she wasn't a zombie when Lee killed her, and that she only looked like a zombie for being badly injured.

    PLOT Twist!!!

Do you know how to use source? If so, you and I should make a video of such event. All the graphics are there - zombie Stephanie, normal Stephanie, bat shit pissed off Lee, Dorlean, truck trailer, etc...

Since we are seeing through the eyes of Lee and the virus is making him in a daze, he could have been delusional for that brief period in time, and saw Stephanie as a zombie

Well, he put a machete through her head, so alive or walker I think she'd be dead anyway

Hey guys, normally I wouldn't say anything about this sort of thing (I think it's more fun for you guys to speculate!) but since there's a real human being involved I think I will...

Stephanie's HAIR was a modified version of the contest winner zombie's hair, but that's it. The rest of Stephanie's model is new and/or modified versions of other things in our library.

But they're not the same person!

    :)

Really, that interesting, thanks for pointing that out Sean A.
