My favorite storyline from the comics was right after the prison, when Rick and co. were on the road and traveling to D.C., mainly because it was one of the few times when there wasn't a community storyline, like the prison, Woodbury, or Alexandria. One of the few reasons why I'm not particularly hyped for season 2 of the game.
I dont mind that they're still in the prison, in fact I like it. Just from the trailer you can see that they are wringing a lot of drama and excitement out of it. I read every issue of the comic and being on the road all the time is no more interesting than being in settlements. That's all the comic is anyway, moving from one settlement to another, being attacked by zombies, and meeting some crazy people they have to fight off. Then, rinse and repeat. I like the comic but its fairly repetitive.
So excited for this! Feel like they gave a lot away, from that trailer alone I've already worked at least one death for sure. I really love the prison setting so looking forward to this, and the group splitting up seems interesting, I think I remember that happening in the comics.
If there is a cameo of the game characters I wouldn't mind it so bad, it would just be a little reference that the game characters do exist in the TV show 'universe' but are still separated from the game/comic shared universe. I do think the game/comic should be distinctively separated from the TV show universe, otherwise things don't make sense, but a little cameo telling us that the game characters are still surviving in Macon in the TV show universe like they are in the comic's universe.
Edit: Very excited though, wonder what comes after the Prison? Maybe the
Hunters?
. I feel like they should focus on that arc afterwards instead of skipping it and
heading straight to the Washington DC area/arc
, it was important for character development in the comics and would be interesting to see in the TV show.

Tyreese
is not going to die in that scene. That's why it is shown so obviously. He will defeat the horde of zombies single-handed like in comics.
Of course there is going to be a series about their travel to D.C., I have a lot on my mind, but this is forums of the game.
Oh yeah and there is probably going to be a nuclear explosion or some sort of it, where Daryl will take main actions. Someone has seen and photographed AMC filming with a lot of crew and Daryl at Atlanta's power plant.
UPDATE: I just read on facebook page: Walking Dead locations, that they probably filmed a plane crash to the B!G SPOT supermarket from trailer, which is located in Georgia.
The Georgia Department of Transportation advises motorists to avoid traveling in this area. Production crews will be setting up equipment in this area. Motorists are advised to reduce speeds, expect heavy congestion and avoid this area.

Wasn't what I had in mind, after the gym in the comics I have a strong feeling
Tyreese will make it out of that herd,
like you said. I was thinking that
Sasha is killed, and her death is related to the traitor in the group. Tyreese goes crazy over it and is obsessed with finding out who the traitor is. He starts attacking Rick/Daryl, and gets in a fight with Rick (hence the black eye). This causes tension between them and when the opportunity comes up, he leaves the group along with Daryl, Michonne and Bob (who are also in the car when they get attacked by the herd).
. Of course, since
Sasha has been promoted to main cast
, I don't expect this all to happen until more towards the mid-season finale (Maybe it starts around Episode 5 or 6, who knows).
I could still be very wrong, but I expect something similar to that happen.
I think your on the right track, I have never understood why AMC is so bad at keeping information secret, remember how much they showed off during season 3?

Yeah it only took me the second watch to piece that together, it might be cleverly edited but the trailer spoils way too much. At least speculating is quite fun
To be honest I don't see any other way around it because
it seems unlikely that Tyreese wouldn't leave the group without Sasha
. It could be that the group split for several reasons though,
main ones being that the prison is no longer safe and they want to hunt down the Governor. Michonne was talking about looking for him earlier in the trailer and both her and Daryl have got good reason to try and find him and kill him, so has Tyreese but not as much. Not sure about Bob and his backstory. Some people think he could be the traitor and is helping the Governor sabotage the prison, seems a bit too obvious to me considering his role in the comic and how he is portrayed in the trailer.
I thought the trailers would stop showing so much after Glenn Mazzara left, I guess that won't ever change, at least Telltale does not put spoilers in there trailers, I think AMC should take a page from Telltales book and start putting fake stuff in the trailers to throw people off, it worked with both the game and the comic.
How would you write the comics if you were Kirkmen? That repetitiveness is always going to be there on some level.
Im no comic writer, I wont even speculate and Im not saying its his fault. Its the nature of the beast. You can only go so far with a zombie apocalypse. It all boils down to trying to settle somewhere and survive. The fact that he's trying to keep the comic going indefinitely means he's probably going to be going over the same ground again and again. But my point was the show is doing the best it can with it's source material and trying to be a little bit creative to try to make things fresh. Its all they can do if they want the show to last.
As for the trailer, they only show the first four episodes. We still have 12 more that we havent seen anything from. Maybe its just me but I eat up every bit of those trailers. The more they show the better.
Really? I thought he wanted to keep going until he couldnt anymore. 300 is still a lot. We're only at 112 now?
Actually he said that he wants the comic series to follow Rick's story for 300 issues. I think he'll continue writing issues over 300 as long as it makes him more $$$$.

Yeah youre right. I think Carl will be mature by that time and the story will focus on him.
What did you check? Did you add up all the stats? They count different play times and days, as well as DVR, ITunes, things like that. All of that adds up. They wouldnt make a big deal out of 6 million viewers but numbers that rival network television they absolutely do. You might hate the show but a lot of people love it.

NEGAN is offline Report Post
The latest issue hasnt come out yet, has it? Sorry but I want Negan in the ground as soon as possible.
He is on cover of issue 115 and 116 with beaten face, so he will probably live for some time.
Its war of 4 colonies so I imagine... Rick's group vs. Saviors vs. Hilltop vs. Kingdom
Fuckity fuck
Now I think Sanctuary mentioned in the trailer is Governors base and Governor is going to be Negan too in TV series, or they will meet Negan in season 4.
The Saviors' main base of operations has shown to be in a heavily fortified factory with a secure fence surrounding it. The only entrance has shown to be surrounded by a horde of chained and impaled undead, supposedly to discourage intruders from attacking, and which forces entries and exits into a small path only big enough for a single vehicle or a few people on-foot without the risk of being eaten by the surrounding undead. Dwight referred to the base as the "Sanctuary".
+ AMC crew has been filming in a factory at Atlanta.

Uh oh.
I remember I started watching the tv show when a friend told me about it,I never knew anything about the comic,I enjoyed that and then I played the game, noticed it was based in the comic universe, and I had heard good things about the comic,so I then read that and thought it was amazing, then I read every issue up to about 100 and something pretty quickly, but anyway I enjoyed the trailer,I hope they do get to the ASZ at some point in the show.
Which would be interesting, but they would be skipping over so much stuff it's not even funny, but they did say the arc they are going to do for season 4 is a arc that never happened in the comics.

Umm no, I just checked. S3 finale of TWD was watched by 6.4 million people, not 14. But still, too high for such a shitty show!
How many more crazy villains can they run into?
There will be a war between 4 colonies now. Im sure Kirkman has great ideas.

well they like to mess things up in the TV show, so I wouldnt be suprised if Negan was Governor or they both work together in the TV.
