Well in my option it has been a great year for gaming, quite a good year indeed, I mean we may have gotten shit like Aliens Colonial Marines, and Walking Dead Survival Instincts, but we have gotten in return the Last of Us, Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider, so many good games, but I still want season 2.

Yeah, those were good games, and that's why I've played through each of them in 1 or 2 long sessions, in other words, 1 or 2 days, I even replayed BS and TLoU, but besides those two, and Tomb Raider which I'll play a bit later, and Metro, which was god awesome, there hasn't been that incredibly much. In comparison to past years good games maybe even got more, but in general 95% of the time I see,- and read about, and because I got nothing else, play mediocre, or even below average action games. Don't get me wrong it's fun to mow through herds of enemies with big guns and tons of ammo, but not if that's all you do for 8 seemingly unending hours.

But thankfully there will be more interesting games in the near future, like TWD S2, The Wolf Among Us and Beyond: Two Souls.

In the end you're right though, it's been quite a good year for gaming.

Now we got stuff like GTA 5 coming out soon, I am honestly not a fan but it is good, I forgot Metro Last Light was really good, what was some reviews smoking? I just got Saints Row 4 and that was fun, better then 3 I can safely say. The only major disappointment to me was COD Zombies final DLC, you might not know that I am a huge fan of that mode, the only reason I even buy COD anymore, and they ended it by saying that all the great characters, environments, story, everything, was just made up, it was all in the imagination of a 8 year old girl, I don't need to explain how dumb that is, to me it is WORSE then Mass Effect 3, other then that I have not been disappointed in games this year, forgot Beyond Two Souls Assassins Creed 4 which looks a lot better then 3, Watch Dogs and the release of next gen consoles, it has and will continue to be a great year for gaming, if I can get over that fucking ending.

The only games I have that were made last year were TWD, Far Cry 3 (excellent game), Sleeping Dogs (fun as hell) and Naughty Bear:Panic In Paradise (shame on me).

Please, tell me that you're joking. I wanted to play this DLC, but I did not ecpect something that weak :(

No I am serious, why would I joke about one of my favorite zombie games, it is really dumb, I mean Trayarch might not have the best writers, but who thought it would be a good idea and would not piss off the fans by telling them Dempsey Takeo and Nikolai are just action figures, and Richtofen is a ten year old kid that is friends with Samantha, and this is all a game to them, really when I read that I wanted to throw by copy out the fucking window.

God, one of the worst endings in history. I'm not a big fan of COD, but I liked zombie mode and it's characters. Thanks for telling me this, so I Wo't waste my money.

Well, the map itself it the most fun to play, it is very different and the wonder weapons are a ton of fun and are very useful, best map in BO2 in gameplay and fun factor, worst in story, as they tried to retcon things that did not need to be retconed, like Maxis is dead in 1918 even though he is alive in 1945, or Samantha is not his daughter when he said in Moon that he has taken care of her since she was born, or why is Samantha is 8 in 1918 but also 8 in 1945, stuff like that makes no sense and the ending makes less sense the more you think about it, like your telling me a 8 year old thought that JFK would be president in 1962, or George Romero would make Night of the Living Dead in 1968 and then become a zombie in 2012 fight ageist big name actors, and the earth would be blown up by nuclear missiles when the A-bomb was not even built yet, shit like that, point is if you want a fun time with a great map then buy, if you want nothing but story then skip if you want to live and imagine your own ending.

Thanks, maybe I'll buy it anyway, it can be still fun to play after all.

Now, let's stop derailing this thread :p

Sorry, the wound is still fresh after 6 days, and i have played that mode since 2008, so it hit hard, I never got into Mass Effect until after ME3 came out, I bought it back in February long after the rage had settled, I never was a active member of the whole this ending sucks change it, so to me this is my ME3 ending, the ending is somehow worse then Aliens Colonial Marines and Walking Dead Survival Instincts, as at least those endings happened, okay I am back on topic ready to talk about great music.

    Stay on topic, guys...

We are back on topic now, honestly I loved all the music, which sounds like a cop out but I truly loved all the music for different reasons.
  • edited September 2013
Yep, let's stay on topic. We could make a thread near the end of the year about that topic, though "Gaming highlights and disappointments 2013." Just an idea.

By the title, I'm gonna say it's when you're sneaking through the cornfields.

No, I know it's not, on Mikon's channel, he named it among the cornfields.

I would like someone to make that thread now in general chat, and I watch Mikon Reborn also.

Oh. Well it sound like it plays somewhere in that episode since it's the same beat. Maybe when she's first running from them and slides down the hill.

"The Light" is the same song that plays in the 400 Days Launch Trailer.
