If you draw on Nate and choose to shoot him why doesn't Russell go through with it?

I don't see why it's reasonable to expect that out of Russell. The woman was a goner and the old man tried to kill them, so to me it's perfectly reasonable that Russell would tell Nate to not kill them but not risk his life for them.

Well I try play as what I think i'd do in those situations and I don't think that I would be able to walk away and let an old helpless couple be murdered of course if it was me I would have shot Nate in the head when he hands you the gun and then make a run for it away from the diner.

I know, I think they will do well with Scott Gimple will do good, I mean he loved the game and made some of the best Episodes, but if they had just kept Darabont then everything would be still as right as rain.

Debatable. A lot of people were complaining that his seasons were too slow.

As for Russell, I dont know if I could just shoot someone in the back after they trusted me with their gone no matter what he did before.

I thought season 3 went by way too fast and season 1 and 2 was better paced.

Like I said, debatable, lol. Frank Darabont seemed to want to make one long story in 13 parts. Most people dont want to see that. They just wanted to see people being killed by zombies. I loved season 2 but I did think they needed to up the pace a little bit.

Yeah I agree season 2 was a bit too slow paced and the Sophia thing was dragged out for way too long, stupid of AMC to cut the budget for season 2 which was the main reason Darabont left,I think Season 3 went to the opposite end and was too fast paced burning through volumes of the comic

I didnt think it was too fast but I guess I can see how it would be jarring after season 2 although the last half of season 2 was starting to ramp things up. I also like how they incorporated more of the comic storyline into the show. But what can they do, cant please everyone, lol.

I hated how they hyped up the final fight and only made it last two minutes, with almost no body killed in battle, now that was just plan dumb, and the only person they killed that was important was the person everyone hated.

Yeah the season 3 finale was the worst finale of the series so far.

I agree, the fact that the guy who made that finale is gone is a good thing, and it seems season 4 will have a better pace.

Yeah I expect the govener to die halfway or towards the end and then they find a place like Alexandria.Maybe Negan be main antoganist season 5?

Russell can try to shoot Nate if you want to, but the gun ends up being jammed (he pulls the trigger and everything, but it doesn't work)

Anyway, Nate's "jokes" don't outweigh the favours and good stuff he did for Russell (not killing Russell even if he tries to kill him, picking up Russell from the side of the road even if he swears at him, treating him like a son when he is not being a total asshole)

Even though he did pull some jokes, they could have been much worse (he didn't unwind the window all the way, he mentions that the old guy "couldn't hit the broad side of a barn")

...right before the guy took out two tires of a moving truck. Nate didn't really care about Russell per se. He was just bored and wanted someone to hang out with and be his lackey. If the zombie had bitten Russell in the truck (I don't care if the windows weren't down all the way, it still easily could have), I don't think Nate would have batted an eyelash.
