its apparently really good (i havent heard it but a guy i know said)
It's leaked, and for anyone who's looking forward to it, get it asap. The two songs that got leaked early are kinda weak compared to the others but it sounds like a different band. Nothing like Ghost Reveries at all, it's just 70s prog/folk mixed with some death and black metal. If someone said 'who does this album sound like' I'd say 'Jethro Tull, Opeth and Emerson Lake and Palmer' but in a good way.

I'm in heaven. I can't believe this is so good, I certainly wasn't expecting it to be so amazing.

Heard a few tracks now and I can say one thing for certain -

    it's pretty different!

At first I didn't get into it much... but as is common with Opeth, it takes a few listens to start appreciating what's there.

I've only heard a few tunes but it seems there are more songs without growling this time.. and certainly much more clean singing.

And the style is pretty different, I'm not a music expert so I don't know what terms to use to explain it properly.. it's more proggy perhaps? Sounds more experimental.

Not as dark and moody as usual.

    Daft Punk's Discovery album.
I like the tracks Voyager and Veredis Quo. They remind me of the music from the Legend of Kyrandia.
