Yes, other than your graphics card, your system should be able to run the game successfully. Unfortunately I cannot help you with exactly which graphics card you should purchase, I recommend looking at a few manufacturer's websites such as ATI/Radeon, or Nvidia to start with.

It worked well until I installed Windows 8.1 Update.
