season 2 NOT on PS3!!!???
One of the mods (Jennifer i believe,) recently stated that to the best of their knowledge, season 2 isn't confirmed on PS3 yet. But is confirmed for PS4. (those weren't the exact words she used, i would copy paste what was said but i'm using a PS3) I'm not saying it was said that it wont be released on PS3, but the fact it isn't even confirmed for PS3 yet is really upsetting. TT will most likely have a PS3 version, (I would think) but just knowing there is a possibility it will only be on PS4 really brought me down just now. Most people don't have an extra $500 laying around, and i'm one of them.

Probably just a mix up.
I think that's highly unlikely, why should they do something like this? Considering the Players of S1, the Safe files etc.
PS4 is one month away and the Majority didn't lock their 3 right away. Or buying the 4 first Day. Focussing all the Effort just on the PS4 would be a huge mistake.
Have nor fear, they will deliver all Systems.
Nothing's really certain now. PS3 is "not confirmed" in exactly the same way Season 2 is "not confirmed" for PC or Mac yet. No need to panic - yet.
Concerning the moderators, you'll always have to consider that they are not an 'official' source. The mods on this forum are all volunteers from the community. Only those with the "Telltale staff" badge are the actual employees with inside knowledge. Nonetheless, Jennifer is ultra Telltale savvy, and I believe this probably is exactly what she said, meaning: We don't know about other platforms yet.
Telltale is still pretty Indie. And although Sony of course wants them to hop on their new flagship for the ride, they of all companies still know that not everyone has 499$ or Euro lying around. They could still do the right thing here.
I know about TT telling us to save our save files, but that doesn't necessarily mean it has to be for the PS3. The files could just transfer to the PS4. What was actually said, was "Right now, the only platforms that have been officially confirmed by Telltale staff members are PlayStation 4 and Ouya (and it's not confirmed whether these platforms will get season two immediately at launch). Other platforms will be revealed as the game gets closer to release." This quote was taken from the season 2 FAQ though. The same thing was said, possibility with slightly different words. What caught me off guard, was that it is confirmed for playstation 4 BEFORE playstation 3. What is the logic to this? Unless TT wanted to leave the possibility of not releasing to PS3, why not confirm PS3? I'm 99% sure I shouldn't be worried at all, but cant help thinking about that 1%. Maybe some of the upcoming news is confirmation of season 2 being on PS3...

So what? They have "Heavy Rain" and "The Last of Us". It's time for good game for all platforms except ps3. That would be fair.
Personally... neither "Heavy Rain" nor "The Last of Us" appeal to me.
the last of us is a great game you should try it or maybe watch a youtube video of someone playing it. the story is great the scenery is beautiful and its real fun to play
