A few theories about Kenny's role in S2

1) He'll appear in a cliffhanger, possibly at the end of ep. 6, 7 or 8.

2) He'll be living within Tavia's community, perhaps in the midst of a relationship with Bonnie.

3) OR, as the leader of another survivor group.

4) Kenny may or may not be emotionally unstable following his experiences in S1. His status as "hero" or "villain" in S2 could depend on his relationship with Lee in S1.

5) Kenny tries to become another surrogate father for Clementine...and it doesn't last very long.

  • I think him at the community seems realistic enough.

  • Wait, there are 6-8 episodes in season 2? I thought there only 5. What the fuck?

Guessing Season 2 Episode 1 is Episode 6 overall and so on.

  • Oh, well what he wasn't saying wasn't clear enough...for me anyways. He could of just said epi 1, 2, and 3 to make things easier.

  • It is obvious that Kenny is alive, no doubt. You always assume people aren't dead unless you find the body.

I'm guessing either 2) or 3). 2) seems more likely because Bonnie is the only character that always stays, which means she will be in this season no matter what.

  • I really want Kenny to have some kind of relationship with Clementine. They were both part of the original group and together for a long time, but we never really saw them interacting much.

  • 6) Kenny still will be DEAD in season 2.

  • I know you liked him a lot but his comeback would be mistake. Kenny sacrificed himself, saved last bullet for Ben. TTG didn't want show his death - no doubt it was brutal and the moment was sad enough. For me, Clementine as protagonist is hard to accept but alive Kenny - it would really harm the game, it would ruin Kenny's role from s1. Some parts of The Walking Game must be believable.

  • It would be difficult to explore his fate if he had died, and there is a lot of stuff that suggests otherwise. I don't see how him being alive would ruin anything. He makes it clear he doesn't plan on dying when he goes to help Ben.

  • What would happen if he was alive, hm? What would he do? Take over Lee's role? The options are scarce, and it'd be best to leave it at that. Kenny was an ass hole from the start.

  • He could live. There's no reason for him not to.

  • Apart from him having no reason to live. He kept going on about how his family is all that matters and now that they're dead nothing matters anymore.
then contridicts his whole "you gotta keep going on" speech.
Kenny probably died in a slimier fashion to Chuck.

  • Then he wouldn't close the gate. There was enough time to shoot Ben and go with Lee.

  • Clementine's lost her family, too. She's also lost Lee. Yet you have no qualms about her continuing to live and being in the second season?

I suspect Kenny closed the gate to keep Lee from interfering.

  • because Clementine is a child that was taught a lesson. Someone died for her. Lee gave her hope and that's all a child needs. a full grown adult is conflicted with emotions, depression etc.

  • I'm not sure what your point is. All people have those things, and Kenny learned lessons as well.

  • Kenny's role in season 2 should only be as a half eaten corpse or a walker. Let the guy die for pete's sake. His story arc is perfect as it is, any tampering with it would take away from his character IMO.

  • Dead has a valid point. Sometimes we just have to let go of the people we feel for in twd you can of course have theories and hopes, just don't feel sad and disappointed if Kenny is a walker without arms.

  • So what will you do if Kenny DOES show up in S2 as something other than a corpse or a walker? I'm not trying to start an argument, I just want to know.

You could just as easily say Clem's arc is done, but I don't see too many people complaining that she's coming back. Life is more than just dealing with and overcoming tragedy. It goes on.

  • If Kenny shows up in season 2 I personally will be dissapointed, because i already mourned his loss in season 1. As for Clem she is still alive for sure, there was no doubt about that at the end of season 1. I looked at it as a cliff hanger sort of situation. Will she be ok without Lee at her side? Did Lee teach her well enough? Did she learn from the previous mistakes in season 1? Will she keep her morality now that Lee is gone?

  • Kenny being in a group would be the more common sense theory.
Hope the man comes back, series isn't the same without him.

  • That would have been the Telltale way to do it, yes. ;)
