Wii Points?
How many Wii points will this game be? I'm sure you're not going to release that information yet but I can hope. I have 1700 points. Would you guess that would be enough?

In reality, though, we haven't announced pricing yet except to say that it'll be in line with our other games.
I would definitely pay 1000 Wii points for each episode, by the way, as long as I'm getting the same longevity as Sam & Max games.
probably make it 1000
Ooh, or 300 points like the movie 300. I like that better. Anyone know any movie called 1?
Dude, no.Just, no.
What? And ALWAYS end up with only points that wouldn't make sense to even KEEP?!
I am pretty sure we haven't said how much S & M Wii will cost. You probably shouldn't just make up numbers.
make it 23 points!!!(The Number 23)
err.. points.
$3.1415---.95 for the game? You'd have to pay .0000000000000...00000000000000...0000000000000...0000000000................000001 dollar everyday to get it!
it comes in points?
anyway, i'm hoping for something more along the lines of 800. because i'm a cheapskate.
Amazon.com has the price for the Wii version of Season 1 at $30, take a cent plus tax.
Season 1 in Telltale's store is $30, that includes a free episode.
Season 2 in Telltale's store is $35.
Now, all of these prices include a box in the purchase price.
A download for 1,000 Wii Points would be $10 an episode would give us $50 for the season.
This is a $15-20 premium on Sam and Max for the convenience of using the Wii and with no(announced, anyway) box version to accompany that premium pricing.
Now.
Since there is no bundle option AVAILABLE for the Wii Shop channel, Telltale faces a dilemma. The Wii Shop Channel pretty much works in increments of $5. That means a rise or drop of $5 for a single episode means an increase or decrease of $25 for the whole season.
I am personally for a Wii Points price of 500 points, which rounds out to a nice even $25. The $5-10 price drop accounting for the lack of a box at the end and other lost benefits like a drop in resolution and no carry-over items.
no.
there are games that cost 600, 700, 800, and 900 points. and one that costs 1200, i believe.
I've only bought two or three things from Wiiware, all priced 500 or 1,000.
Alright.
Then some new math kicking:
600 points is a rise of $5 to the 500 points calculation, putting Strong Bad at $30 for the season. That would be in line with the Sam and Max game prices.
So, I'm thinking 500 or 600.
To me, 700-1,000+ per episode is out of the question.
Stop calling me out on my errors, guys.
It's not nice.
You got the point. =p
1000-1500 sounds reasonable for what you will get, but again, I have a feeling it will be more like 1000.
yeah, to me lostwinds (1000 points) felt more like a 700-point game to me, so it certainly is possible that it could be 1000. i still think it'll be anywhere from 700-900 points, though.
It's over 9000!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, I had to do it.
I wouldn't be surprised if it were 1000 though.
The one that costs 1200 is Final Fantasy Chrystall Chronicals 2
Dude, I would buy the game if it were 3.14 points...that would be great.I could buy the whole season for less than 20 cents.
Actually, pi is an infinite decimal. You'd have to pay an infinite decimal of 1 point (1 cent for people in the real world) for the rest of your life to play the games.
Your great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandchildren will still be paying off this game for you.
I hope it isn't 1000 points
