I know have all the above plus:
Monkey Island Bounty Pack (Monkey Island 1, 2 and 3, CD versions).
Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened
Sherlock Holmes: The Silver Earing
Space Quest Collection (not a big fan of it sadly. I can't figure out any of the puzzles but the humour is perfect).
Sam and Max:Season 2
Zak McKraken and the Alien Mindbenders (3.5 floppy disks KIXX XL re-release big box).
I have many of the games listed above but I can't belive that no one listed The Bizzare Adventures of Woodruff and the Shnibble. It was such a good game although it did not sell so well. highly recoment it to all of you and i know a place to get it for free on the web.
The Black Cauldron - original box
Adventure game for children based on the Disney cartoon of the same name. Roberta was involved with this (as was Al Lowe, the creator of the Larry games) but it was not included in the Roberta Williams Anthology for legal reasons.
There is an adventure game for this? I'm a huge Disney fan but I can honestly say that was their worst film. I felt like a small animation company trying to be Disney, rather than Disney doing another one of their classics.
As for my lists it's small

Here is a video showing my Lucasarts adventure games.. recorded on my INCREDIBLY bad webcam on my very, very bad PC.. so it's a low quality video in very low quality.
So you've just started playing adventure games, then?
I highly recommend you check out some of the classics, maybe start with old Lucasarts games (they tend to be easier and more forgiving than early Sierra titles).

Yeah. When I heard about SBCG4AP, I had learned more about Point and click adventure games, Telltale's sence of humor, and most of all, Sam und Max. But I'll keep your recomendations in mind.
Yeah, I'm pretty new to all too.
Here it goes:
Day of the Tentacle
Full Throttle
SBCG4AP 1&2
Sam and Max Season 1
(Wii pre-ordered, so you guys don't think I'm a complete loser.:o)
I don't own many adventure games, but I've played the following LucasArts/Telltale games:
The Dig
Full Throttle
Sam and Max Hit the Road
Sam and Max Seasons 1&2
SBCG4AP
Also in the more "adventure-ish" category, there's Psychonauts (haven't beaten), the Phoenix Wright series (played 1 thru 3), and Hotel Dusk. Also, when I was a kid, I played an Are You Afraid of the Dark adventure game that I thought was kinda cool.
I guess I've played more adventure-ish games than just that, but those are the ones that stand out.
EDIT: I own the Telltale games and the DS/PS2 games, btw.
Right, if we're talking about adventure games, does anyone know the name of that really short game about a man and his dog flying through space until something is about to collide with them, think its a foreign game, and its extremely odd, they used to have it on telltale games but not anymore, anybody??

I'm by no means a keen gamer. Graphic adventures make up well more than half of the games I've played. I haven't played the big titles that everyone has like Grand Theft Auto or Halo, for example. The remake of Secret of Monkey Island and the Tales of Monkey Island have recently rekindled my interest in the games I grew up with.
Lucasarts
Lucasarts Complete Collection (Amiga) which consisted of:
- Maniac Mansion
- Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders
- Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
- Loom
- The Secret of Monkey Island
(What got me all into it. Sadly Lucasarts stopped making games for the Amiga after 1992)
Monkey Island Bounty Pack (PC CD-ROM) which had the CD version of SMI with non-midi music and a picture inventory, and the standard midi/pc speaker version of Monkey Island 2: Le Chuck's Revenge
- The Curse of Monkey Island (first game I bought as soon as I had a new PC)
- Escape from Monkey Island
- Loom (talky version)
- Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
- Full Throttle
- Sam & Max Hit the Road
- The Dig
- Day of the Tentacle
- Grim Fandango
Sierra
- The only Sierra (adventure) game I've played is King's Quest VI but I'm slowly watching through all the playthroughs of Space Quest and Police Quest on youtube
Revolution
Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars
Broken Sword: The Smoking Mirrror
Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon
The first Broken Sword game's music is among the best ever heard in an adventure game, certainly for its time. I haven't played The Angel of Darkness or the Wii remake of Shadow of the Templars which has more story than the original.
Telltale Games
- Sam and Max Save the World
- Sam and Max: Beyond Space and Time
- Strong Bad's Cool Games for Attractive People episode one (didn't appeal to me as much because I'm not really up on the HSR in-jokes and pre-story)
Others
- Simon the Sorcerer
- Simon the Sorcerer 2
- Discworld (couldn't get the sound working so missed out on Eric Idle's voice acting)
- Flight of the Amazon Queen (both on Amiga and on Linux through ScummVM)
- Gilbert Goodmate and the Mushroom of Phungoria (I signed up as a playtester for this, but unfortunately couldn't get the disc to work at the time). Graphically very similar to the style of CMI
- The Longest Journey (Just completed this game yesterday as it was downloadable from Steam. What a brilliant game! A perfect mix between mundane reality and fantasy. I hope Ragnar Tornquist releases the LJ episodes before too long)
Not so adventurey games
- Little Big Adventure 2: Twinsen's Odyssey (another game that creates such atmosphere and nostalgia)
Prepare yourselves for a long post of... uh... longness.

Toonstruck (box) -I don't care what other people say. I still like this game.
I loved this game!! got stuck when they were in the cauldron though no matter how many times I clicked back and forth nothing happened - gave up then. Think I still have it somewhere - might try dig it out and give it another go!
Leisure Suit Larry Ultimate Pleasure Pack - original box
Contains Larry 1-7 (still no sign of Larry 4 hehe), Larrys Casino and Laffer Utilities.
.........
I think Larry 7 was a really good end to this series and I wish that garbage by the name of Magma Cum Laude had never been released.. it's a cheap cash-in and it really sucks.
Played the first three games as a child (ahem...) and it totally got me into adventure gaming. Eventually found the pleasure pack in a game shop in the late 90's and bought it but never managed to get my hands on episode 7 and now I can't even buy it over the Net due to games laws or something....?
Totally agree about Magma Cum Laude - it was a total pile of crap... just the same game over and over again (up, up, up, space, down, right, space). Waste of time and money - never mind the amount of time it takes to install.
BTW - loved this post - reminded me of all the games I played and should still have lying around somewhere... Freddy Pharkas, Kings Quest, Space Quest.... ah, the memories of a mis-spent child hood
Monkey Island 1, 2, 3, 4 and now 5.1

phew, this is my list of adventure games i own.
95% are big box versions and cd versions, i have 4 diskette versions
i'm still looking for following games : orion burger, touche : adventure of the fifth musketeer.
If people should sell these games please let me know!
My meager collection mostly consists of budget re-releases of things, but I do have a few gems too:
LucasArts:
Monkey Madness CD (Containing CD versions of SMI and MI2)
Curse of Monkey Island (LucasArchives budget re-release boxed version, came with Monkey Madness CD above)
Escape from Monkey Island (LucasArchives budget re-release boxed version)

Day of the Tentacle (PC CD-ROM in paper sleeve; I no longer have the box or manual )
Full Throttle (PC CD-ROM in jewel case)
Grim Fandango (PC CD-ROM in jewel case)
I've been thinking about getting Loom, The Dig, and the two Indiana Jones games on Steam. I've played them all before, but I'd like to own legimate copies and show my support for the new classic franchise-loving LucasArts.
Sierra:
Space Quest Collection (new cheap-o Vivendi XP-compatible DosBox-powered re-release)
King's Quest Collection (same as above)
My older brother had a lot of the old Sierra games in their original boxes when we were growing up, but those are all now either lost, broken, and/or in his possession.)
Infocom:
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (IBM 5.25" floppy version, in original box with manual, documentation, and feelies all intact; a recent birthday present from the aforementioned brother )
Telltale:
Sam and Max: Season 1 (PC digital download and bonus DVD)
Sam and Max: Season 2 (PC digital download and bonus DVD)
Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People (PC digital download and bonus DVD; I don't have the DVD yet, but it should be shipping soon.)

Tales of Monkey Island: Chapter 1 (PC digital download)
Out from Boneville (PC digital download)
The Great Cow Race (PC digital download)
Other Adventure Games:
The Neverhood (PC CD-ROM in original box with manual and documentation)
Callahan's Crosstime Saloon (PC CD-ROM in original box with manual and strategy guide. I actually found my copy at a local video rental store that also rents and sells old PC games. I was really happy and surprised to find it there. Great and highly under-appreciated game.)
Toonstuck (Virgin White Label budget re-release boxed version)
The Longest Journey (in original box)
Starship Titanic (PC CD-ROM in orginal box with manual, strategy guide, documentation, and 3D glasses)

Audio Surf (Steam digital download)
Portal (Steam digital download)
World of Goo (PC CD-ROM in original box)
This really takes me back to those wonderful days of adventure gaming in the 80's. I still have nearly all of the games everyone has listed, including a couple of others I don't think anyone else has mentioned - Ripper (featuring the great Christopher Walken) and Obsidian. I started playing the Sierra games from King's Quest 1 when it was first released and I was totally hooked, and have been a mad advernture gamer ever since.
Currently I'm playing Journey to the Centre of the Earth, Tunguska, and of course, Tales of Monkey Island.

The Longest Journey series
The Nomad Soul (does this count?)
The Secret of Monkey Island series
Toonstruck
Touché - The Fifth Musketeer
...and I'm sure I have more buried somewhere in my room.
I was reading through this thread for inspiration for titles to purchase and to see if I played or owned any that aren't mentioned.
Several people have played ecoquest, but not necessarily the second one.
I recently purchased the first game from amazon and have been playing it through dosbox, but can't get very far.
The second game; secret of the rainforest, was the second computer game and adventure game that my dad ever bought me (the first was legend of kyrandia which took me 10months to complete). As a bit of an adventurer/explorer who wanted to pick up litter and learn everything about ecosytems and the environment it was perfect.
I went looking for it recently but couldn't find it, if anyone has a copy, I would be very grateful.

Too tired to type it all up right now... (just got back from work). Maybe later.

- Dune (does that count?)
That's about all I can remember.

I loved this game!! got stuck when they were in the cauldron though no matter how many times I clicked back and forth nothing happened - gave up then. Think I still have it somewhere - might try dig it out and give it another go!
Freddy Pharkas, Kings Quest, Space Quest.... ah, the memories of a mis-spent child hood

...and I'm sure I have more buried somewhere in my room.
