REMINDER: keep spoilers tagged and out of thread titles please

edited December 2013 in The Walking Dead

I have a feeling people will do this anyway though unfortunately.

Mods are here to help. Drop 'em a PM if you see anything like that (flagging posts doesn't, uhhhh, work so well presently as a mod informing feature).

I also stickied your thread - for a few days only. Enjoy all the thumbs ups. ;)

  • Spoilers are the hardest thing in the world to avoid, no matter how hard you try. Take it from a fan of the show who was spoiled on some pretty major events by thoughtless fans. Still, I hope this thread does help to curb some of that for the sakes of people who dont want to be spoiled.

  • People are in such a rush to discuss things, they forget basic etiquette. It's frustrating but somewhat understandable.

We'll do our best to stop people spoiling things though.

    Thanks.^^

EDIT: Looks like the hate against Vita players won out. The thread was unstickied and locked, my posts have been deleted, and the Vita players have been told we don't get a place to talk about the release date-we are only permitted to look at the title of the existing thread. I'm surprised they don't threaten to ban us if we post in it.-.-

Done. ...at least until someone else comes along and un-stickies it.

I never looked at the forum until i was done playing through just to be sure, but I know how it feels to be spoiled, a forum member's name spoiled the end of the first season for me, and i was pretty pissed. Any way to prevent people from making member names that spoil?

the spoiler tag isn't working so...

that guy with the name RIP_lee_everett really ruined season 1 for me.

  • ...not really, I'm afraid. We don't have the ability to change people's usernames.

...and I added a spoiler tag to your post. Try editing it to see how I did it.

thanks. but tags wont work for me, when i click the spoiler box, then select a description (walking dead) nothing happens. I'm using a PS3 to type though, maybe that has something to do with it. I'll just have to choose my words carefully i guess if it doesn't work with a PS3.

EDIT: just tried again, i select the description, but it doesn't bring up the next box like when i'm on a computer. must be the PS3 browser or something.

  • This forum seriously needs an overhaul. Most people don't seem to like this format anyway, and it makes getting spoiled too easy. Plus, mods should be able to edit usernames, in the case that they have spoilers or are inappropriate. But you could always take my suggestion-since the account is new and rarely active, talk with its owner about deleting it and changing the name or them just getting a new account. They've only made, like, five posts. I reported that account name a while ago.

  • And you completely ignored MY reasons! I'm so sick of this bias against Vita players. Why should we not have the same rights as everyone else?

Darth Marsden said that a mod might come in and de-sticky it (and I did). I'm sorry, but we don't need separate threads for release discussio
