I know its fun to speculate. I just wish someone who actually thinks Kenny is alive could give a more solid reason. Except they can't because one doesn't exist! As I said, it could very well be Kenny. But it shouldn't be.
The thing is that you aren't really giving a very solid reason to why it's specifically Lilly and not Kenny either, you just keep using the same point that just because Clem hasn't seen someone for a while, that apparently the next logical step for her is to assume that they're dead by default. If it was Lilly, I think a more appropriate response would be, "You're alive?", seeing as she'd have more reason to be surprised that she's still alive rather than be surprised that she's not dead. If we're really going to go back this far, Clem would have more reason to be surprised that Kenny's not dead rather than question whether he's still living.
I know its fun to speculate. I just wish someone who actually thinks Kenny is alive could give a more solid reason. Except they can't because one doesn't exist! As I said, it could very well be Kenny. But it shouldn't be.
I'll just reiterate again- I am not a "OMG I love Kenny he has to be alive!" guy. I don't like Kenny, at all. I agree he died back there and should have died back there in that scene BUT I do not thing it is crazy that he might have lived....
A. He didn't die on screen. So we don't know for sure.
B. There are a hundred plausible scenarios where he didn't die. I'm sorry if you think it's "crazy" that he launched himself through one of the half dozen ground floor windows in that alley to try to live... if that's "crazy" to you then I really can't argue with you. If it's "crazy" and "impossible" that a guy jumped through a window instead of getting ripped apart by zombies....then I really can't argue. Because it's completely believable and dare I say it- likely that he would at least try. I also can't say for sure that someone like Molly didn't come back and help him- maybe she did, maybe she didn't. But it wouldn't make me go "ohhh that's BS!"
C. Is it "crazy" that he might fight his way through a dozen walkers and not get bit? Yeah, it's far fetched but not impossible at all. If you can accept the fact that some guy who had a car in the woods 3 episodes ago has tracked you and followed you and managed to get into a hotel in the middle of infested Savannah and kidnap Clem without anyone seeing and fight through a horde of zombies without anyone seeing just so you could have a final showdown in a curiously abandoned hotel..... I think a dude jumping through a window is a little more believable.
D. Stop thinking that just because it didn't happen on-screen that it was never ever talked about. Soooo many people saying "Clem wouldn't know Kenny was dead so she couldn't say I thought you were dead!"... seriously? Is it that crazy to assume in a year and a half Clem NEVER asked Omid or Christa what happened to him? They would have thought he died as everyone else does, as we are all meant to believe.... is it crazy that just because Clem wasn't there in that moment she wouldn't have asked or wouldn't have been told? You're talking about 16+ MONTHS people. That's a big break. Don't just assume because it wasn't said on screen that Clem has no idea about anything. She probably knows everything that happened.
Everyone just chill- there are a dozen scenarios that are plausible and believable where Kenny lives.... and theres other scenarios where he's dead and the mystery person is Christa, Lilly, or someone else. But please everyone just relax. No one knows anything any more than anyone else. Just sit tight and wait for it all to play out. But this "I hate Kenny so much there's no way he can live and you all are stupid for thinking he is alive" attitude is just plain old juvenile. Relax.
Yea... does that not make sense? Listen, I don't feel insulted because you told me I act like I am above everyone else. As mentioned the fact that you so passionately wrote that post says a lot about you. Its a video game forum for the walking dead. If you have to post like that on here I assume you have no life or you're under the age of 12.
Once again my argument is really rooted in the sheer impossibility that Kenny escaped. None the less I am almost giving up the argument for the sake of that no one can prove the other wrong. All I am simply saying is that Telltale has not done anything unrealistic yet and making the figure Kenny would be.
Sigh, into the flames I go...

A) no argument against you there but that doesn't matter imo. He was cornered by zombies.
The game shows that the zombies were literally on top of him. He had to hit one just to save time to kill Ben. No way he bashes in a boarded up window in a span of a second.
C)It is crazy because telltale has given us zero evidence to believe he did that!
D) This is the one argument here I don't get. This is a very simple video game made by Telltale and by simple I mean there isn't much brain power used in the game. I love the game because of the story but overall anyone and their mother could play this game. I just think its funny that once again every Kenny argument is based off "what ifs" where as Lily and Christa left CERTAINLY alive (Christa at least running from them) If Kenny were in fact to return, telltale needs to go into extreme detail on how he returned to remain credible.
Like I said, I don't hate Kenny at all. Its a video game I don't hate a figure made of pixels... I don't care if its Kenny that is the figure I only care about the fact that it should be Lily or someone who appeared to have a much higher chance of survival since the game up to this point has been realistic.

People can believe that Lilly is alive without actually being a Lilly fan. I couldn't stand her, and I'm pretty sure it's her. Though yeah, it was a bit rude to say the super villain thing, but I'm pretty sure he/she was kidding.
Dude, leave all the Kenny fans alone. They are humans just like you, how would you feel like if people would make fun of you for being a Lilly fan and say "You are team Lilly because you want to have sex with her".
D) I see it exactly the other way around: That particular argument is a no-brainer for me. In 16+ months not telling about Kenny ist more far-fetched than not mentioning it. A little common sense, please. So that is not a "what-if" anymore than a "what-if-they-didn't tell her" is.

I don't know how to say it any differently than I just said it. You say its "common sense." If they didn't show it OR drop a hint about it there is no need to create a story in your head on what happened. Maybe Clem thought Kenny, who was angry with the group after the death of Katja and Duck just abandoned the group like Lily. The fact is as Ive said before in all these episodes and 400 days, everything Telltale wanted you to know, you knew. They either explicitly stated it or implied it. For example, they show Christa not pregnant anymore... yet not talk about it.

They also left Lilys fate MUCH unclearer. She drove away into the wild. Kenny was cornered or surrounded by zombies. Also, when Kenny tells Lee "its just something I gotta do" and LOCKS HIMSELF in the alley instead of quickly shooting Ben and leaving... isn't that any more evidence that he "needed" to die.
This Lily/Kenny thing again? Can't say I like either, but I'm pretty sure it's not Lily, even though the douchebag-I mean Kirkman went and retconned everything about Lily, I don't see her traveling that far north and bumping into Clem. Same with Kenny, IF he is alive, it won't be because he's super human or any such nonsense, it'll be because of a thing called "plot armor" and I honestly hope tell tale doesn't go down either route.

As I said, I wouldn't mind seeing Kenny again he was for all intents and purposes and a great character. At the same time there is literally NO FIT in the story where it could be him. A lot of people liked Lilly too, maybe not as much as Kenny but there is certainly a lot of people who want her back.

What the hell are you talking about? I was refuting your bogus point. So you can make a terrible post, and if someone presents a rebuttal they have no life or they're 12? Get real, idiot. I'm 20. I have more a "life" than you could possibly dream-- I was just arguing your point. If you don't like debate-- LEAVE.
Please refer me to the section of my post that leads you to believe I was being childish. I was merely stating that only TellTale knows what's going to happen. People like you truly piss me off.

someone missed nap time? In all regards how is this a terrible post? I actually think its rather intelligently put together. There are tons of rebuttal on this thread which I respect and respond to. You went out of your way to call me out on a video game forum. You have more a life than I can possibly dream? I highly doubt that. Especially since you say it than leave no evidence, much like your argument for why it could be Kenny or why I "think I'm above everyone else."
You want to be referred to where you are childish? read your first post tagging me in it. If thats not childish, Im not sure what is. You were merely stating only telltale knows what is going to happen by assuming I think I am above everyone else?
Heres what you wrote: NO ONE BUT TELLTALE KNOWS. Stop acting like you're above everyone else.
Heres what you should have wrote: No one but Telltale knows.
So as you conclude your post on "people like you truly piss me off" I guess I could say the same thing. Except, I would hope I am in the majority of people who aren't fans of idiots such as yourself who make attempts at insulting others over the internet. Its even more laughable that its on a video game forum. So please leave your computer and go outside to participate in that "amazing" life you have.

As much as I want Kenny to be alive and as much as I can't stand Lilly for murdering Carley, I really do believe Lilly is going to be the one who ends up being alive. It makes way more sense for it to be Lilly, plus Clem sounds pretty scared/shocked when she sees the person is still alive.
I think a cool way to "explore" Kenny's death is either via an actual flashback of Clem running into zombie Kenny, OR Clem brings up the encounter with his corpse during dialog in one of the later episodes.
My point is just, that you can't use that particular point to "prove" that Clem didn't know that Kenny was likely dead.
Saying Omid and Christa didn't tell her is just as much speculation as saying that they did. And about 20 months is a lot of time.
In the Ben-scenario Clem would even be more likely to just ask them, since Ben was her friend (more then Kenny imo).
I am a fan of walker-Kenny showing up as means of "exploring his fate". I just don't think that this point (I was only talking about that point) can be proven either way, and therefore can not be brought in the argument.
We don't know whether Clem knows about Kennys supposed death or not. But both scenarios are totally realistic and don't need a huge leap of faith. I personally thinking in 20 months it would be more likely that at some point it was told. But you do have a point as that is not shown, so we don't actually know. It's just way less of an assumption than let's say "maybe Molly came to Kennys rescue". That would be way more far-fetched to assume, than the "they likely told Clem about Kenny"-thing

You're a joke man. You're telling me to grow up while you post things like "LOLOLOLOL". Get a life, kid. The problem is you can't take any form of argument that you can't win. I read my first post. Also, why would I post proof of my private life? Do you want me to post pictures of my friends? What are you getting at? That's right-- nothing. You have no argument to present. Give your mom her computer back and go to school already.
If you post one more ad hominem attack on me, I'll just assume you've accepted defeat and can't find a conclusive argument to approach me with.

The one with molly saving Kenny is pretty humorous. You're right. I think if it is indeed Kenny there might a flashback of some connection on how Clem learned about his apparent death and hopefully a flashback explaining how Kenny survived.

Ha! the classic "if you post one more attack on me, ill assume I won" technique! Haven't seen that in a while. I really think you're giving yourself a little too much credit by saying you hurt my feelings lol. I could not honestly care less if you agree with me. You're judging approval based on thumb downs. . .yea because thats an accurate gauge right there of the people who truly disagree with me. What am I getting at? I am simply "getting at" is that you need to leave your computer and go into that amazing life you have. . .I mean I said that exactly in the other post.
But hey I see I clearly damaged your reputation on the Walking Dead Video game forums so I apologize. I presented a very valid argument in my original post for what I simply said: this game is pretty realistic so it should be Lily. If you disagree, disagree. As you yourself said only telltale knows. . . I mean at that logic guess theres no point to have a forum right?

Yup. This is my last post regarding you so soak it in while it lasts. If you don't "care" if I agree with you or not-- while are you still posting? Your entire argument is based on me taking things too seriously on a game forum; when you start blowing things entirely out of proportion. Who's taking things too seriously?
Of course I'm judging based on thumbs down-- if the negative outweighs the good-- you have a problem. That's the reason websites implement judging systems into their sites-- so people can know right off the bat; who's an idiot, and who's worth listening to. You aren't worth listening to, to be completely honest.
The amazing life that I have? Who said that I had an amazing life? I clearly stated that my life is better than yours. Which probably seems amazing from your point of view-- but hell, you like blowing things up, don't ya?
Damaged my reputation?
What kind of dream are you having? Ask anyone on here. I did that a loooong time ago, and haven't regretted it. But this just further validates my point about you. You're an imbecile. A half wit. A simpleton. Instead of trying to convince me that my view about you was wrong, you only proved such. If anything, you've tarnished your own reputation. Your point sucked. You missed focal facts about Christa, Omid, and Clementines relationship. When I brought those facts into the discussion-- you threw a tantrum. Enjoy watching your crappy thread die off.

you must go through a lot of work to get those gifs on here. True dedication from you. So I will enjoy having last word since you won't post again. Although like last time by stating "If you post again Ill take it as accepting defeat" you still felt the need to post again… hmm odd.
1) Out of the 20 or so who disliked this thread I am pretty sure a solid 100% of them disliked solely because they like Kenny and want to see him back. Which wasn't my point to begin with. If you want to go that route I can say I have 11+ likes, which is highly above average.
2) Once again you said that your life is better than mine. Since I am pretty happy with my life I assume yours must be amazing. And saying I like blowing things up has no relation to the point that you think you have a better life then me. I understand you were just trying to force an insult in there that just didn't fit.
3) "I ruined my reputation a long time ago and haven't regretted it". . .thats a little weird man.
4) Im a imbecile because I argued on a video game forum… not only does that make you one but it also makes every human being one. Ive tarnished my reputation? How so? Oh wait don't respond because remember you said you wouldn't
5) Missed focal facts about Christa, Omid, and Clementines relationship? Lol this isn't CSI or SVU buddy. Its a simple game with little to leave to the imagination.
6) My crappy thread has over 150 posts with over 2k views. I don't care like I said. Its a video game forum and I could care less but just wanted to throw that out there in response.
Alright well thats all I have. Thank you so much for allowing me to get last word. It was very kind of you! Remember, that was the last post you'll make regarding me correct? Ok good. Ill give you 2 hours before you jump on this thread again to argue.

We were lead to believe at first that the Lily in game was the same as the comic. There was even a trophy relating to where she goes after she leaves the story. So when 'Road to Woodbury' (or whatever it's called) came out Kirkman had changed pretty much everything about Lily and made her completely different then she was in the game. Ergo, there are 3 characters named Lily in TWD universe, game/comic/show, but they aren't the same.

Oh a "realist" playing zombie games. Give me a break.
You make three point, neither of which support your theory. One has 'some' merrit, but nothing conclusive, another is speculative and the third is flat out wrong.
"Kenny in either situation, but Ill (I'll) focus mostly on the situation with Ben, is surrounded by walkers"
Sure.. but the fact that you don't actually see him die in ANY situation makes that a mute point in fact it leaves the door wide open for a return.
Besides, It's not like noone ever survived being surrounded by walkers, think of when Lee was going towards the motel on the street.
Baseless, pointless speculation.
Kenny had no idea where they were supposed to meet up. They agreed on that AFTER he was "lost to the crowd".
If that's the best you can do. Then no, The discussion isn't over.
I don't think it is Kenny either, and I'm not defending it in hope that Kenny will come back. What I'm trying to say is that every reason you have to say that Kenny couldn't have possibly survived is what the theory that he's alive is founded on. There's more evidence to Kenny not surviving than there is to Lilly not surviving, and so looking at it from the reverse, Clem would have more reason to be surprised that he's not dead. The theory itself is based more by feeling than it is based on logic. The theory also excludes the possibility that it's Christa because Clem would be happier to see Christa, but what if the circumstances in which she sees Christa are bad? If the people seen in the preview really are bandits or some other kind of evil group, they could be keeping Christa there as some kind of slave or something.
Once again my argument is really rooted in the sheer impossibility that Kenny escaped. None the less I am almost giving up the argument for th… moree sake of that no one can prove the other wrong. All I am simply saying is that Telltale has not done anything unrealistic yet and making the figure Kenny would be.
Did you seriously thumb down my comment for stating a fact?
I never said "loved" I said "cared about" Like you care about a friend.
She obviously held Kenny and his family close to her, thus her response makes zero sense here.
Stop trying to put words into my mouth to make yourself seem right.
You really think clem cares about kenny as much as lee? she talks to him about 5 times in the first season. if its kenny and they make it seem… more as if she loved him, that would be silly become they never had alot time together but they do care about each other its just not deep.
Can people read through threads before they post? If you have it would save me retyping this every post.
Firstly I know its a very unrealistic situation of it being a zombie apocalypse. I, like I assume most, have moved past that point and are talking about the actual point that the game is realistic FOR it being in an a zombie apocalypse. Which is extremely respectable considering other zombie games.
I make three points all of which clearly support my theory. Now you can disagree with them but they all support my theory…
For the love of god, I am not saying the figure can't be Kenny. I am saying it can't be Kenny without being unrealistic. You don't see his death yet cornered by 20+ zombie doesn't bode well. . . .he def just walks through them like nothing with the great weapon he has. Surrounded was the wrong word I guess. Lee was in an "open" space.
Certainly not baseless or pointless. He explicitly states "You know I have to do this" to Lee. Then he had the "drinking problem" in the house. I, unlike you or others, base my argument off what actually happened or is implied from the game. Not what may have happened. But ill admit thats my weakest of the three points. If Kenny says that to Lee then locks him in the alley its almost like he lied. . .Kenny was certainly expecting to and willing to die in that scenario. He could have just shot Ben and run back with lee.
Granted, it was. But if he was alive he knew where Clem was being held up and I am sure if Clem was able to find Omid and Christa outside the city, Kenny could. Also that was just a small point. It wouldn't fit that Kenny travel North by himself and find a group of bandits...
If stating facts and actually making an argument over evidence instead of proof-less speculating over what MAY or what SHOULD or what CAN or what MIGHT of happened makes me a dick, than I am a dick.
Oh a "realist" playing zombie games. Give me a break.
You make three point, neither of which support your theory. One has 'some' merrit, bu… moret nothing conclusive, another is speculative and the third is flat out wrong.
* "Kenny in either situation, but Ill (I'll) focus mostly on the situation with Ben, is surrounded by walkers"
Sure.. but the fact that you don't actually see him die in ANY situation makes that a mute point in fact it leaves the door wide open for a return.
Besides, It's not like noone ever survived being surrounded by walkers, think of when Lee was going towards the motel on the street.
* Baseless, pointless speculation.
* Kenny had no idea where they were supposed to meet up. They agreed on that AFTER he was "lost to the crowd".
If that's the best you can do. Then no, The discussion isn't over.
Quit being a dick
I think people are reading into the line too much. It would make sense if she said " I thought you were dead" to every single character in Season 1, right? I mean yes the PLAYER has more reason to believe Kenny is dead than Lily however that is from the player (or lee's) perspective. With all things considered and speculation taken out, it is indefinitely Lily who should be the one who has returned.
I don't think it is Kenny either, and I'm not defending it in hope that Kenny will come back. What I'm trying to say is that every reason you … morehave to say that Kenny couldn't have possibly survived is what the theory that he's alive is founded on.
Comments
Hey lets not argue, its just a game man.
I agree, but I'm not the one who insulted him. I merely said stop acting like you're above everyone else-- he tells me to grow up.
kenny should be dead and gone
I completely agree. I'm just saying I could see a realistic scenario where he's not. I just don't see why it's so implausible.
Sigh, into the flames I go...
Relax.
I say its either someone unexpected, Perhaps Molly? but My best bet is on Lily or Kenny.
Yea... does that not make sense? Listen, I don't feel insulted because you told me I act like I am above everyone else. As mentioned the fact that you so passionately wrote that post says a lot about you. Its a video game forum for the walking dead. If you have to post like that on here I assume you have no life or you're under the age of 12.
Once again my argument is really rooted in the sheer impossibility that Kenny escaped. None the less I am almost giving up the argument for the sake of that no one can prove the other wrong. All I am simply saying is that Telltale has not done anything unrealistic yet and making the figure Kenny would be.
They left Kennys fate in Season 1 unclear...use your heads people.
Same with Kenny, IF he is alive, it won't be because he's super human or any such nonsense, it'll be because of a thing called "plot armor" and I honestly hope tell tale doesn't go down either route.
kenny should be dead but telltale want to get alot of money so they will have kenny in season two not because great story
As I said, I wouldn't mind seeing Kenny again he was for all intents and purposes and a great character. At the same time there is literally NO FIT in the story where it could be him. A lot of people liked Lilly too, maybe not as much as Kenny but there is certainly a lot of people who want her back.
i dont know why but i feel like its not going to be kenny maybe lilly or christa
I don't really understand if kirkman is against bringing lily back as she is in (i believe) all three mediums of the game, comic/book, and show.
Tyreese once fought a horde of Walkers with just merely a hammer and lived.
End of.
someone missed nap time?
You still haven't presented a valid argument. What you're saying is:
"I disagree with you, therefore you should have wrote this..."
You're a joke man. You're telling me to grow up while you post things like "LOLOLOLOL". Get a life, kid. The problem is you can't take any form of argument that you can't win. I read my first post. Nothing about it is childish. You're just upset because I hurt your feelings. Your post is crap. 19 people agree with me on that. What's even more is that you're too idiotic to try to convince me otherwise.
Another thing is...How is Kenny's fate to be explored unless he tells us himself, or we go back to Savannah, which is highly unlikely?
Ha! the classic "if you post one more attack on me, ill assume I won" technique!
Tyreese is a beast doe
We were lead to believe at first that the Lily in game was the same as the comic. There was even a trophy relating to where she goes after she leaves the story. So when 'Road to Woodbury' (or whatever it's called) came out Kirkman had changed pretty much everything about Lily and made her completely different then she was in the game. Ergo, there are 3 characters named Lily in TWD universe, game/comic/show, but they aren't the same.
did not know that.
We see him as a walker or it somehow hinted. Like a character will say they saw a walker that looked like Kenny or something to that extent.

Did you seriously thumb down my comment for stating a fact?
I never said "loved" I said "cared about" Like you care about a friend.
She obviously held Kenny and his family close to her, thus her response makes zero sense here.
Stop trying to put words into my mouth to make yourself seem right.
