Please, please tell me it's an American game.

It's an american game. Came out late June. edit should clrify it's DS. but I assume you know that already.

    Wiki about it.

There's 2 versions, Zerker x Saurian, and Zerker x Ninja. Each version has 2 "arcs" but the only difference between them is what OOPArt (out of place artifact) you find and can use constantly. In-game you can get an "Auto Brother" which will give you a card that will let you use 2 forms at one time. (Ie if you start as Saurian your Auto Brother's card will let you use the Zerker Form but with some of the Saurian abilities intact and vice versa). In order to use the 3rd form (and a possible Tribe King form combining all 3) you would have to exchange friend codes with someone that has the other game version AND used that game's exsclusive form.

Thank God they are - imagine the ugly polygon characters you'd have otherwise :o
I think the way they did the characters in that game was a nice solution... less demanding for the console and looks better as well.

Anyway, last game I played - more Zak FM Towns.

It would be fine, but sometimes they suffer a horrid frame-rate.Like when they are all driving to the castle when you've won a trophy, they move at like, 6 frames per second.

P.S. Mario 64 had polygon characters, and it didn't look so bad.

I'm playing Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, Final Fantasy VIII, Sam and Max Season 2 (again), Ninja Golf and Galaxian respectively. I've only got three weeks between Summer and Fall Semesters and I'm milking them for all they've got!

Myst III: Exile. Colorblindness isn't all too helpful with a couple of the earlier puzzles. :P
  • edited August 2008
Myst 3 is great, especially.. well, I won't spoil it in case it's the first time you play, you'll know it when you see it :)

It's a little bit on the easy side for a Myst game though, especially when compared to Riven (best in the series, IMO).

Last game I played is The Longest Journey. One of the very, very few good Norwegian games I can think of.

The last game i've played was BioShock which i bought 2 months ago. Very creepy and very good "action first person shooter". Normally i don't play this, but the story and the gfx and effects are so great. Before this i've played Runaway 2. I now need to go through Sam & Max Season 1. ;) Its here since one year, but i've never touched it...

    Cheers, murphy

i've played mass effect last...it's also one of the only games i played in a long time..except sam&max of course. anyway, this games has pretty amazing cutscenes. telltale, you guys should definitely get "depth of field"-effects for season 3...i don't know how difficult this is or how much more it stresses your gpu, but it makes everything look like big cinema.

Are you talking about Amateria? I've seen a short Youtube video on it, but not too much to spoil anything. It's the age that I'm currently trying to solve. The Youtube video looked pretty cool though.

sonic was hard. took me a whole day just to get him!!!

I'm currently playing The House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return for Nintendo Wii. Say what you will about the choice of voice actors for Sam & Max, but playing this game makes that debate seem like a joke. The House of the Dead games have some of the worst voice acting that I've ever heard in my life. Thankfully for the sake of my ears, there is a volume control in the options menu for voices. *Hits Mute*

    Treasure Treasure!!!

Me and my bro managed to get all 20 treasures and get both characters out, so that's something to put on my CV.

I'm at work and my computer (workstation) gaming potential sucks: 16 MB integrated video card - server edition. So anything more taxing than Windows Solitaire is probably out of the question.

Currently I'm starting Metal Arms: Glitch in the System. But I also have FlatOut 2 which hasn't been finished, TrackMania: Nations Forever (gah I hate that name) which I play online occasionally, SBCG4AP of course, and I'm still working on getting everything in Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess.

Secret Files of Tunguska: A really good adventure game, it was envolving and satisfying.

Been playing the newest Alone In The Dark.

Maybe "playing" is the wrong word. "Enduring" is more accurate. How could they screw this up so badly? Amazing physics, gorgeous graphics, mind-blowing action scenes... and it's all ruined by the awful controls, buggy vehicles, endless glitches, and ridiculously powerful enemies.

I'd be fine with it just being a bad game, but the things that are good about it are SO good that I keep coming back to be tortured again.

i never got any of the glitches, i didn't think the controls were that bad, the vehicles were terrible, and the enemies arent that powerful
  • edited August 2008
The glitches are rare, but they break the game completely when they hit. (For example, I entered the museum, just to find out that only the first two rooms loaded. Everything else was just an empty void. I had to reset the console to load up the rest.)

As for the controls, I stand by my hatred. :p Ol' Eddie has some of the tankiest controls since Resident Evil. And when in the inventory, you have to be PRECISE if you want to select something on the bottom of the left side. A molecule off, and you end up zooming to the top right. Not easy when you only have 2.9 seconds to put something together before getting slapped by an enemy.

I don't even need to expand on the vehicles. :p There's no denying that cars should never randomly float, nor tear through tons of rubble like they were made of Styrofoam.

As for the enemies, maybe I just suck, but 3 of those zombie things attacking at once always ends up with me bleeding all over the place. And the black goo stuff just pisses me off. Chase the goo too fast, and you walk into it and die. Slowly clear it out, and it comes up behind you and you die. Cough, and goo comes out of nowhere and you die.

And those expletiving fissure things... seriously. I writhe with hate. Writhe!

[/rant] Sorry about all that, this game just pisses me off like none other. If it weren't for the skip feature, I'd have chewed my thumbs off by now.

EDIT: Oh, and Sarah is a moron. Who the hell stands there and lets themselves be attacked? Or stands in front of my gun and yells at me when I accidentally shoot her?

I haven't played the game but already by the sounds of it she reminds me of Ashley (RE4)
  • edited August 2008
Ashley is a genius in comparison. :p At least she moves out of the way when you bump into her.
  • edited August 2008
I've never had problems with ashley in RE4. She never got in my way and she always ducked when I pointed a gun toward her. Granted majority of the time I had some breathing room between me and the enemies if they were behind me, but still.

I've created a few new characters in Oblivion, so I've been playing that again.

Since there really isn't any new games out, I've been replaying games I already have.

I've been playing Paper Mario, Kingdom Hearts, and Dragon Quest VIII.

Since yesterday I'd say Sam & Max Hit the Road.

The last game I played was Morrowind. I booted it up, made a female Argonian Pirate (custom class), did a few quests, then got bored because I've beaten the game too many times already...

I'm not sure what the last game I played was, but I know whatever game YOUR playing right now is your last *boom* night night! Actually it was Sam & Max Hit the Road.

I recently completed Half Life 2. The first FPS I've actually completed. I'd also it is the best I've played.
