Some other name meanings that match up.
Omid: Hope (he was always a more optimistic and upbeat character. Its no accident he was killed off… more in the first 10 minutes of season 2. So much symbolism there).
Molly: bitter (fairly obvious)
Clementine: mild (works well with season 1 Clem)
Lee: shelter (protecting Clementine)
Lilly: flower (actually this has no correlation at all Lilly's a bitch)
Katjaa: pure (do you ever even see her swear?)

The surname Kenny is of Old Gaelic origin, found in Scotland and Ireland. The translation of the name Kenny is 'fire born'. I hypothesize that… more 'fire born' ties in with the saying or expression "born in fire forged by flame," which refers to the process of hardening steel with heat. The steel is born from the fire and made stronger by the flame. Isn't that a coincidence since throughout the season we experienced Kenny slowly hardening to the current world he lives in. If you're still not convinced, the other translation of Kenny is 'handsome'. We can't argue with that philosophy :P.

Hello internet.
I'm not sure if I should be insulted or flattered that their is a troll trying to get me in trouble. I need encouragement, … moreso I'll go with flattered.
So, trying to get me banned by harassing Jayden? I must be important around here or something.
What is with this grudge you have against him? you went as far as to copy another members username.
Whatever your problem is, why dont you just send him a message and work it out that way? i dont think anyone here cares about how much you dispise this guy who, thus far, has done nothing wrong.
I always thought it was very plausible that Luke is the deuteragonist, primarily where he's credited. I find it strange that he was credited b… moreefore Omid and Christa. Lee is credited first with Clem second in every episode of Season One. In 400 Days, the characters are credited alphabetically (which is why Becca was first). And in Season Two, Clementine is first with Luke second, followed by Christa and Omid. From that point, it's alphabetical again.
Lucifer means light, too, and we all know how his story turns out. >.> Lucian is also light and if you follow Underworld, you'd know where his story went, too. Any Luc- name tends to mean light or deals with it (Lucy, Lucille, Luke, Lucian, Lucifer, Luciano, etc). Sometimes, that character can be a good guy. Other times they end up taking a serious fall.
Occasionally, authors will select a characters name based upon their personality or events related to their life. Sometimes, some authors will throw that convention out the window and go with what they like. Since Luke appears to want to help Clem (outside of the one moment where he drops her when he sees the dog bite), would stand to reason that he will be a kind of guide for her for at least a short while. Question is if he lives to the end or dies like so many others. Given that light is eventually extinguished, I wouldn't count on him living to the end of Episode 5.
Personally, I find selecting character names based upon their role in the story to be a bit ... cliché. Parents aren't fortune tellers and won't know if their kid will become a great leader, a coach potato in their basement, or a psychopathic killer. I'm fine with the occasional character who's name happens to line up with their personality and/or story role (or be the opposite), but the entire cast is overkill. Just makes it seem like all of the parents are psychics. Maybe I've looked too much into names over the years so I'm more apt to be aware when a name and character are too close to truly be realistic. I try to ignore names nowadays or I get caught up on how predictable the author appears to be and miss the story.

Indeed, he may be good for now, but in this world, anyone can go from your best friend, to your worst enemy in mere seconds, just look at what happened with the St. Johns.
Characters that relate to light are usually good, but when they fall, they fall hard.
Still, I don't see them pulling an "evil Luke" plot twist. The guy is either a great actor (being able to fake that much sympathy for Clem), or is a decent human being. I'm going with the latter.

The tritagonist is usually the least sympathetic character in a play.
Which you might find apt for Kenny, if you're not a fan, or you may f… moreeel outraged about if you love him and want to have his mustachioed babies.
Regardless, it annoys me to no end that people keep throwing around Greek Tragic terms like this. Kenny was not a tratagonist, even if he was listed as such. He just wasn't.
what makes The Walking Dead game series a bit different from the show is that their are 1-2 characters that make you want to keep going. In season 1, I loved talking to Clementine and Omid. maybe it will be the same with Luke.

Are you really that stupid? Is there a reason you are copying a member of this forum's name and trolling?
Well, flower could mean Fragile, after all, it didnt take much for her to lost it and become unstable.

Wow, how do you know all of this?
Fair enough.
This is genius.
Send him a PM for a quicker response. I already have though, so it's best just to wait.

Thanks.
Don't worry, we mods know better.
Don't worry, we can just look at recent post history. He will in no way effectively confuse us.
He is just wasting his time.

OMID CONFIRMED FOR EPISODE 2!

GOTH AWAY THE OLDE SPAMMERS!
Basically Light doesn't always mean good That's why I still don't trust Luke.
Invading the comments section... now that's just low.

You do remember that this is TWD right? There isn't gonna be much "Light" or hopeful things anywhere.
Spam in the comments now?!?!
There will be plenty of hopefull things, the only problem is that they dont last long, and there is allways a twist.
Then explain Clementine in season 1? Without her, the game would have been nothing but misery porn.
I remember TT saying things were gonna be much darker in S2. Be prepared Mike, Be prepared
I can tell things will be darker just by looking at that episode 4 slide.
Yeah, that's just way too creepy.
Poor Clemmy. I can't wait
Clemmy will survive, don't worry!
Yeah, episode 4 is gonna be messed up. I'm worried about it.
Me if they kill Clementine.
I'll probably never stop crying.
Actually, she probably won't. Because you just jinxed her.
There is not a clap slow enough.
Lets not forget Episode 5: No Going Back.
There are some dark times ahead no doubt.
LOL those are gonna be my reactions as well.
It would be a waste to kill her, and TT knows that. It would just be for shock value. That's it. No purpose in doing it.
yea you guys are really on to something
well im just going by what the info says online. He was the 3rd main character though
it could also depend on how Clem treats him with the choices you make throughout the season

I don't really agree.
I think Clem and Lee are the main characters.
