If Clem dies, WE BOYCOTT Telltale!

If Telltale decides to kill Clementine off, we boycott them and demand a refund. If Telltale even DARES killing off Clementine, we'll never buy another Telltale game including Game of Thrones and Borderlands. Then we'll demand a refund for The Walking Dead as a community until they can't refuse. We can also forbid them from making another Walking Dead game. Telltale better take this as a warning, Telltale better know that we have a voice and we will use it if we even think that Clementine dying is a possibility. Telltale you only became/are popular because of The Walking Dead and Clementine IS The Walking Dead so you're screwed if she dies. Telltale needs to know this so direct them to this thread please. Whose with me and CLEMENTINE!!!

  • SHE WONT DIE GOD DAMMIT STOP IT!!!!!!

  • I would but I would be too busy crying my eye sockets out to care.

  • Who's with me and CLEMENTINE!!!

I don't think she will die, because Telltale is likely afraid to... but if they do kill her off, it would be right down Robert Kirkman's and the entire comic's alley.

Boycotting Telltale because they remain true to the license? Oooookay.

  • I'll probably be mad...but I wouldn't be able to stay away.

  • If we see another one of these threads... WE BOYCOTT!

If she dies I just don't want it to be the same way you-know-who died, tellTale's better than that right ?

  • What the hell??telltale is one of the most powerful gamedevelopers.they have big connections in the government in the mafia.they send a hitman to kill you.you can't boycott telltale.telltale will boycott you.(but for clementine I will give my life to protect her if I gonna die let it be in the path of wisdom in the path of love come on people seek the redemption .FOR GLORY FOR CLEMENTINE)

  • I like Clem, but I'm not going to boycott if they kill her off in the end. It's the walking dead. There are no happy endings. :/

  • If Clem dies (and that's a very big if) and you are too sad to deal with it, drop the game series and be done with it, but don't force your decision on anyone else.

  • I was joking.

  • Well, I didnt want her to die before, but the idea of you leaving now makes me want Clem to die.

  • Her dying could be pulled off in an acceptable manner, if it is in now way similar to the way Lee died. She would have to go out big, without being bitten by a zombie.

  • Now I get it.well...sorry for accusation and thanks for answering my question.

Yep.laugh out loud but it would be great if they really have it.(think about telltale was a secret cult in far far past years and their purpose was to find a way to make people cry and with their wealth and power they did some research and after long long research they realize that the best way to do that is the story of a girl named clementine and a man named lee)LOL.

Probably will not die but I'm still worried. I don't keep it likely for them to kill her off unless they really want to end the game series. Swapping protagonist for a character that wasn't there from the very beginning of the season 1 is just plain bad for the continuation of the story.

At first it's a story about Lee and Clementine, then Lee dies. Continues on as a story about Clementine, who has recollection of the past events. If she were to die, hypothetically speaking, and the series swaps protagonist for Luke, for example. He would have nigh to no knowledge of the past events in the game.

It would be like a family photobook filled with moments of someones life and then in the last third it would be showing bits of a life of some stranger.

I'm not sure how to explain it better.

  • If you are really that stubborn about one of your "Favs" dieing then you are playing the wrong game

  • Yeah well It could be possible but the change is small. If you watch breaking bad, i wont spoil anything but just say: Companies can be a cover for verry verry bad things.

  • lol i won't boycott Telltale, but i won't have the emotional attachment to the game anymore,i'd probably still buy another Walking Dead game.

  • I hope they don't, Clem was the most important since TWD started so killing her would make this series pointless.

  • Not pointless if her Story is told to its fullest. A foreseeable Death sometime or endless Stories with her which lacking Quality sooner or later?

I hope they don't, Clem was the most important since TWD started so killing her would make this series pointless.

  • Idiot OP. All I can read from this stupid thread is that you want telltale to write the story the way YOU want. To you, it's not their game anymore. So anything that happens in the story that you guys doesn't like makes you not approve it anymore? Take it for what it is. The story plays out the way it does. It is what it is. Threatning the developers? Dafuq?

  • It's their product, damn it. This is just like the google, the google+ issue and youtube. Telltale can do whatever it wants with its Product, just like Google can with Youtube.

  • And Google fucked Youtube in the ass...

Let's hope Telltale is smarter than Google.

This has to be the single dumbest reason to boycot anything ever. Look I didn't like it when Kamina died in TENGAN TOPPA GURREN LAGANN, but I didn't boycot the animation study. Jesus.

  • So... we boycott Telltale for killing a character we like? If that's what all the cool kids are doing nowadays, then I'm surprised Telltale is still standing after episode 3 of last season.

But seriously, boycotting a company over one character? Clem is awesome, yeah, and I'll be upset if she dies, as I was with Lee. But boycotting a company because of it (and at this point, based on what they MIGHT do, not what they WILL do) is just dumb. Come Episode 5, Clem's just as likely as anyone else to kick the bucket, even though I don't think she will.

Actually, what google did to youtube was a very smart move. Being a google+ user myself before the merger, I find youtube more sophisticated now than ever before. Also, infinite letters.. bolds, italics, and you can now put up links. How is that shit bad, huh?

It's bittersweet. The way they forced us to use their product (A product I have no interest in) was unprofessional; having users not be able to comment on anything until they switch is a stupid way to get people to use your product, much less gain loyal customers (nobody is going to be loyal to a company that takes advantage of you and manipulates you).

Infinite letters is good, I agree, but that just gives spammers a new opportunity... I mean, when people can post an entire movie script in one comment, there's a problem.

The link system is horrid. People can somehow edit the link to make them look legit now. I've gotten 2 jump scares from links that looked legit and a virus.

Don't even get me started on the copyright system...

  • If she dies... Holy-Moly

  • So you want to limit Telltale's writing options because you're attached to a character? Have you read the Walking Dead? Like ever? That's like the whole point of the comic is killing your favorite characters.

  • It's not going to happen anyway.

Have YOU ever read the Walking Dead? Like ever? Rick and Carl are still alive and it'll remain like that for as loooooooooong time.

  • Well Rick is the main character so he kinda get immunity. Carl however is a shit in any form of the franchise. The more you hate a character the higher their survival odds.

  • And Clem is the main character too so she'll get the same kind of immunity for a couple more seasons.

  • Yep, you tell Lee that. I know it's contradictory but, not ALL main characters have immunity.
