what if the cabin group members are the bad guys and carver is trying to get revenge on them??

Nah. If it was true, Pete would have never been apart of the bad acts and Luke probably joined the group after the bad acts.
I just don't buy it. Carver is the antagonist, very similar to the governor manipulative. I just hope that Pete survives, would be interesting how that works out. An epic battle between the mystery person and Carver would be awesome.
I got a creepy vibe from that Carver guy.
According to Carver, they left after they had a "disagreement", I'm thinking that after Carver forced himself on Rebecca for whatever reason [probably because she was the only eligible woman in the group, and he wanted to keep his "legacy" alive since he was their leader], the group was disgusted by what he did and ran away.
Just look at how he's all creepy when talking about her. "My little pregnant lady", he says in the vid. I think he raped her.
That's why she's so bitter and distrustful of strangers, and completely breaks down when someone mentions her baby or Carver's name.
So yeah, she worked up the courage to tell the group what happened after it happened, they were disgusted by his actions, sided with her and ran away, and now Carver's after Rebecca so he can claim his baby back.
They didn't tell Clem at first because she was a stranger, and you don't go around telling strangers other people's darkest traumas.
Wouldn't shock me too be honest.
Feel like the group is keeping something.
Also, like movies, sometimes the person who seems the biggest bad guy isn't always the case.
I mean, Clem could always get together with the group from 400 days after something happens to the current group but it's doubtful at this stage.
