The choices now really matters?
I'm really surprised now. At S1, everyone was complaining because your choices didn't matter at the end, but, in S2, this looks very different.
One big example of this is: depending on how you told Walter about Matthew, will decide if Nick lives or not. If you say he's a good guy, Walter will save him. If you don't, he will die. Also, we're going to the next episode with 3 determinant characters: Carlos, Nick and Alvin.
This is amazing. lol

I get the feeling none of them will last long.
I mean myself and others totally called it about your Pete/Nick decision meaning nothing, since they both die/live in either choice.
It would be nice but I'm not holding my breath.
Yeah I mean good lord. I think in this episode at least 3 or 4 people could've died and some do die no matter what you do. Just so nuts, all of it. I ended up just trying to save everyone, someone ended up dieing but that was inevitable I think.
I'm not sure, but, if you save Nick at Episode 1, he will ask you to leave him. Do the group come back to rescue or he will disappear?
If you save Pete, he will die and we'll have Nick for the rest of the episode.
Carlos too? :O I dont even remember if he survived
Yeah, Carver can kill him.
Luckily I got everybody to live
Wow, I'm pretty lucky. None of the "determinant" characters died through my play through.
Didn't even know this episode had the potential to be a blood bath until I started hearing people talk about their play thorughs.
In my game, Alvin was the only one to die.
In my game, Alvin was the only one to die.
Yeah he survived in mine but that cunt killed Walter. He was literally the nicest man.
Wait wait wait, Nick can die? Really? I told Walter he was a good person, and Walter saved him. Speaking of Walter, he was the only one to die at the end. I got Kenny to surrender before Carver blew a hole in someone else's brain basket.
How do you keep all of them to survive?
Sit with Luke or Kenny
WHY YOU DO THIS TO ME, TELLTALE??!
Yes. If you say he's a good person, after killing some walkers with CLementine, Nick is in trouble and asks for help. Then Walter kill the walker attacking him.
If you say he's not a good person, Walter won't kill this walker.
Wait... you mean to say that it is possible to go into Episode 3 with just Sarah and Rebecca?! Wow, I had no idea! I'm kind of proud of myself for saving Carlos, Nick, and Alvin now!
When I had to do this decision, I was like 'fuck me'. I had to press esc and pause the game to think.
That's what i'm doing right now !
I'm thinking what to do... oh man
Hardest decision all episode.
Hmm the only 2 important characters that died in my playthrough were Pete and Walter.. There must be several outcomes then :O
What are the dialogue choices I have to make to save/kill either of them? I'm thinking about killing off Carlos and Nick...
If you go out to search for Kenny and Luke, I don't think you have the option of saving Alvin. Am I right? I really wanted Alvin to be alive.
I'm not sure about Carlos. Some people say that he can be killed, some people say he can't be killed. But Nick and Alvin I'm pretty sure.
I had the exact same outcome myself. I didn't know Alvin and Nick could potentially die in Episode 2.
No, I saved Alvin even though I went out to look for them. Just stop Kenny from shooting.
I still want to know what happens if when you get the option to surrender(and save Carlos' life) or go look for Luke and Kenny. Most people who didn't surrender will probably try to stop Kenny from shooting Carver, because he might accidentally shoot Carlos. Now the thing is, what happens if you don't stop Kenny from pulling the trigger? Does he accidentally kill Carlos?
I think first you have to convince Rebecca and Alvin to save Carlos by revealing themselves or else Carlos dies. Then you have to agree to go look for Kenny and Luke while they buy you some time. Eventually, you'll get to the point where Kenny will try to take a shot at Carver while he's holding Alvin hostage. Stop Kenny from firing the gun and you'll save Alvin.
At least, that's what I did in my play through.
I thought it was the other way around, search for Luke & Kenny to save Alvin. You just have to tell him not to shoot when he gets a hold of Alvin.
To ensure that Nick dies, don't tell Walter that Nick is a "good man".
To ensure Carlos dies, just wait until the timer runs out/don't give up.
No, he will shoot one of the Carvers man.
To kill Nick: when you go out to talk with Walter (when he's holding the knife), say bad things about Nick. Say he's a bad guy. Then Walter won't save Nick when he's being attacked.
To kill Carlos: not sure but when you, Rebecca and Alvin are hiding, choose the option that says they won't kill Carlos or something like that. I'm not sure thought.
Nope, Alvin and Rebecca reveal themselves no matter what it seems. I'm not sure how Carlos can die. Anyone here know?
I went with Kenny because I wanted to catch up. BUT THEN LUKE GAVE ME THOSE PUPPY DOG EYES!
If you save Nick in the episode 1, after Clem going out by herself and leaving Nick, will the group go back to rescue him or the rest of the episode is also without Nick?
I didn't look for Luke and Kenny, Luke didn't come to the camp, not sure if he even can, but I ran to Carver before he shot Alvin and saved him, then he took Clem hostage and Kenny stopped shooting.
Yeah but he kinda had this big target placed on his head. I was half expecting him to get shot mid sentence while he was talking to clem one on one outside. He was like that one beacon of hope that you can say that hey, maybe everything is going to be alright for humanity... and then you realize it's the walking dead universe and remember people like that can't survive in that world and are doomed to die.
Now, instead, people are complaining about the lack of the "downtime" moments where you just walk around and talk with others. Personally, I don't mind it as much. If my actions have even bigger consequences now, it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make... I really wonder how the writers at Telltale do it. So many variables...
Yeah, tell him "Nick is just like the rest of them" He will do nothing and Nick is zombiefood.
I don't think he can? I did both options (Surrender or go to Ken) and both times he lived, just if you go to Kenny he gets beaten up more.
Don't think Carlos can die, but (this is a guess) that he got his right ear cut off because he was screaming in pain if you run out and Carver had his knife near it
I literally screamed ''FUCK YOU TELLTALE'' for making me have to make do that choice.
