The choices now really matters?

  • Mine turned into a complete mess.

Alvin died. Nick died. Walter died. One of Carver's men died.

But honestly I've accepted it. I'm not one to "play through again because I don't like how mine turned out". I will accept every choice I make through the game as if I was Clem.

Also, can Carlos die? I don't see that happening seeing as he is one of the biggest characters who is driving the story right now.

Wow, I'm pretty lucky. None of the "determinant" characters died through my play through. Didn't even know this episode had the potential to be a blood bath until I started hearing people talk about their play thorughs.

  • Say that Nick's a good guy to Walter to save Nick and then chose "protect Alvin" or "grab gun" (depending on if you went outside or surrendered) to save Alvin.

How do you keep all of them to survive?

  • You tell Kenny to shoot Carver while Carver is dragging Alvin to the front of the room.

Kenny takes the shot and hits Carver. I thought he was dead, but it turns out kenny only clipped his shoulder. Carver stands up and lazily blows Alvin's brains out.

As for Nick, if you tell Walter that Nick is "just like the rest" and not a good guy, when Nick is getting attacked, Walter will watch as Nick gets eaten instead of shooting the Walker.

I had the exact same outcome myself. I didn't know Alvin and Nick could potentially die in Episode 2.

  • Im replaying to save Alvin!

  • Carlos can't die

To ensure Carlos dies, just wait until the timer runs out/don't give up.

Just not true. Rebecca stands up, if you let the timer run out. So I guess killing off Carlos is a rumour? And it's not possible at that point?

  • Managed to save all three! Fuck yeah!

  • Al and Walter dead in my play through.

  • Thanks guys, I'll experiment a bit with the choices. How do I make sure Alvin survives though?

What are the dialogue choices I have to make to save/kill either of them? I'm thinking about killing off Carlos and Nick...

  • When Carver takes him, chose the "[PROTECT ALVIN]" option.

  • not gonna lie that was literally one of the hardest decisions in that episode lol

  • Me too, I feel great about that!

Luckily I got everybody to live

  • I felt exactly the same. Although I did have the feeling some of these people could have died if I had made the wrong choices, which I luckily didn't.

  • I actually yelled for Kenny to shoot. I was really hoping he would kill Carver. Instead he just clips Carver's arm and then Carver shoots Alvin.

I still want to know what happens if when you get the option to surrender(and save Carlos' life) or go look for Luke and Kenny. Most people

  • can walter be saved?

  • Walter and Alvin died for me. Walter always seemed too nice, and I thought that Clem's attempt to physically protect Alvin would just fail.

In my game, Alvin was the only one to die.
