Who went with Tavia?

edited March 2014 in The Walking Dead

In my play through, everybody went with Tavia. A lot of people are saying that Tavia led the survivors to Carver's group especially since no matter what you do, Bonnie will always go with Tavia. What happened to you guys and what do you think is going to happen?

Comments

  • My whole group went with Tavia as well, makes me wonder if they will all be in Carver's group or if there was another reason why Bonnie ended up there.

  • I also had everyone go with Tavia in my playthrough.

I'm curious to see how the 400 Days members who remained in the camp and refused to go along with Tavia will be worked into the story. Maybe Luke ends up joining up with them? (if there are any to join up with)

  • I think it could also be a good thing that they went with Carver, though. Although he is a horrible person their chance of survival would of have been very low in that camp that the 400 Days characters had before. Also, if they wanted to, they could rebel against Carver as they have enough people but finding weapons to beat Carver's men would be challenging. Hopefully if the other 400 Days characters from Tavia's group are there then at least they will disagree with Carver and his plans and help Clementine.

  • Yeah. I don't know how it will work for us since everybody went with Tavia and the story will still stay the same at the end.

  • Judging from the EP4 slider, Eddie will play a role in the episodes to come.

I'm thinking that the group Luke is going to join is gonna be his. And if any of the 400 days characters stayed behind, they'll be there with him.
Along with some new faces and POSSIBLY Nate.

  • Only Vince accompanied Bonnie for me. I thought I'd fucked up at the end of 400 Days, but now I'm glad Wyatt, Russell, and Shel didn't get stuck with Carver.

  • Nate is awesome. ;D

  • I am pretty certain that what you're saying is right but my only problem with this theory is how is Tavia telling them that their families and friends could be with them a bad thing?

  • Bonnie automatically goes with you no matter what so good job, that is probably the best outcome.

  • Yeah same here, first playthrough anyway - which is the save I used for Season 2. Was trying to figure out what choices impacts who goes and who doesn't. My thoughts are it's all to do with Tavia's dialogue options. Can anyone else confirm/disprove this?

  • I can't confirm it but I think that it is true. I got some other people to play it and on my save file with Russel I made Tavia tell him that friends and family members might be there and that they had gone through Statesboro. With the other person they did not tell Russel that and they played the rest of Russel's story like me except for the hiding part with Carley or Doug.

I think Tavia mentioning family and friends is just her being a good manipulator, if you pick the right dialogue choices.

She knew just how to pull the 400 days crew's strings by mentioning family and whatnot and getting them to join Carver's little dictatorship.

"This is a good thing. I know it is."

    Oh, Bonnie.

Yeah, I'm wondering if Tavia's community is where Carver's group is from too. I was pretty shocked to see Bonnie with Carver. I had thought that the group from 400 Days would be potential allies in Season 2. I'm not sure how I'd feel about putting forth the effort to make sure everyone ends up with Tavia just to find out later that all I accomplished was to make things five times as difficult for Clementine.

On the other hand, we don't know anything for sure yet. It could be that Bonnie ended up leaving Tavia's community at some point and met up with Carver later. Or who knows? As bad as Carver seems right now, maybe the 400 Days people actually have a good reason for being with him.

It does kind of make sense if they are with Carver though. When you come across the people that Carver killed at the stream in Episode 1, Roman is among the bodies. He might have been going after Shel and got into a fight with Carver's people.

  • My whole group went with Tavia although I'm not sure this is a good thing. I find it interesting that in the preview for episode 3 Bonnie and Clem were smiling at each other like they were getting along. Not sure what that's about but my Clem won't be smiling at Bonnie unless she explains herself. Dammit Bonnie, I trusted you!

  • I don't remember what all the triggers are, but for most of the characters it depends on what choices you make in their stories and also what dialogue options you use for Tavia. Like Wyatt and Russell will go if you talk about how they might find people there.

Bonnie definitely does not seem like she wants to be there though. Her facial expressions make her seem like she feels really bad about the whole situation. She makes a few sad faces when no one's looking, but then goes back to her Carver's thug persona. She's really not a bad gal. I mean, she's even having a nice chat with Clem and everything in the preview... They're both smiling, I think they'll be getting along pretty well.

I'm sure Carver is one of those guys who doesn't let people just leave his group at will. I think that at least Bonnie, Shel and possibly Wyatt are being kept there against their will, if they went with Tavia. Becca and Russel, on the other hand, judging by their personality at the end of 400 days, will probably grow up to become loyal thugs to Carver.

  • Everyone went with Tavia, but I think/am hoping that Tavia's community is a separate community that is enemies with Carver's, and that maybe Bonnie is only there to infiltrate Carver's camp. A spy or something, that would be cool.

  • they might not have had his voice actor yet, if you can recall in episode 3 the stranger on the radio sounded like a pedo, and in episode 4 he sounds like an old man, than his voice completely changes in episode 5

  • Yeah, I think Bonnie was just guilty because Walter was so generous to her while she was spying on them in preparation for an attack. Anyone who's human would have to feel at least a little bad about that.

I might have to play 400 Days again to see if maybe I'm just misremembering, but Tavia seemed so nice and genuine at the time. I can't believe she would have actually been taking people to someone like Carver.

Also, I liked Russell. He might have been a little hardened by the end, but hey, the kid's been through some stuff. Becca does scare me a little though.

  • Everyone went with Tavia

  • Yeah I was wondering that too. In the playthru I'm doing now, only Bonnie and the pothead went with Tavia which it's looking like was probably for the best.

Well, here are the requirements for the following characters to go with Tavia:

    • Bonnie: Comes no matter what.
    • Vince: You have to shoot Danny's foot off.
    • Wyatt: You have to stay in the car.
    • Shel: You have to kill the intruder and leave in the RV.
    • Russell: You have to walk away from Nate and choose a specific dialogue while playing as Tavia.

  • Well, I believe Wyatt can still go with Tavia if he's the one who's left behind if Tavia mentions finding friends and family. Again, Russell will also go if Tavia talks about finding friends and family. Shel will go if you leave in the RV or if Tavia mentions there being children.

  • Yeah, there's a lot of those too. I believe those are just the main ways.

I thought Tavias group is that Winnisomething place. Maybe Bonnie has become one of the scouts, but shes caught in bad with Carvers group when she scouted them.

I mean come on guys use some bloody common sense: if Carvers group is Tavias then how come no one recognised Bonnie? DUUUH

  • in my playthrough everyone except vince goes with tavia (and maybe russel too, i don't remember). i also got wyatt instead of eddie there, because i always failed at losing rock paper scissors.

  • Everybody went with her in my playtrough. At the time,I tought that it was a good thing. But now, they showed us that Bonnie is with Carver and think about it,Bonnie is the only one that goes with Tavia no matter what.
